When reviewing the website, we were not planning to stay at this Parador- too expensive, and a few kilometers out of town. But when the hotel we booked proved to be a depressing affair, we found that the Parador had a 50% discount. So we ended up staying there for 90 euros, with an extra 15 euros per person per... more

On a short four day visit to Granada and Cordoba we chose to return to the Parador as it offered a cool and tranquil relief from the hot busy city. We had taken along my eighty-six year old mother and my sister, both of whom are diabetic. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they even made sure that... more

Stayed two nights here based on an excellent experience at another parador. Agree with the comments from the other reviews on the location. The hotel is no where near the sights of Cordoba (which you can really cover in a day anyway) so you end up taking the bus or taxis. There was no AC during our stay and we... more

I stayed here in October. I love the paradors and booked this because I've always had really good experiences in them but after this I'll think more carefully. First, it's a LONG way from the centre of Cordoba and I found it really difficult to find: paradors are always signposted and this one was but I kept losing the signs,... more

This is a modern Parador, but of a very good standard. The modern paradors vary a bit in standard, but this is one of the better ones. Lovely large rooms and a nice swimming pool and grass area overlooking the city. There is really nothing I can criticise about the hotel itself, however many people will find the location inconvenient.... more

I stayed here in September of 2006. The hotel is remote, but presented itself luxuriously. The staff was pleasant at first, and was very able to communicate in English until I awoke at 3am aghast at being bitten by BED BUGS!!!! I alerted the front desk, they sent a porter to my room with me and I showed him the... more

We stayed in several paradors on our recent trip to Spain and enjoyed them all, but this one was our favorite. Pros: excellent meals with a gorgeous view for night time dining. Safe nice neighborhood, excellent service, lovely orange tree grove. Plenty of parking. Front desk will provide map of cordoba, directions. Cons: pool not open regularly, construction going on... more

Hotel O.K but a little jaded. Room O.K too but, again, jaded. Worst aspect was the staff: Check in staff were very short of smiles & we didn't feel welcome at all. Restaurant O.K but very short of choices & staff unconcerned / didn't care - except for giving you the bill which was presented before we'd even finished dinner!... more

Cordoba was our third stop in Andalucia. As we were driving from Granada in our rental car we didn't want to deal with driving and parking in the center of Cordoba. We also wanted a swimming pool which made the Parador the obvious choice. It was very easy to get to from the highway and turned out to be a... more

We stayed at this parador at the end of our two week trip to Spain. Weary from sightseeing non stop, we enjoyed this hotel for its large pool and nicely landscaped grounds. The area around the pool is grass and there are plenty of lawn chairs and umbrellas. We had a simple lunch by the pool at the hotel snack... more
