We stayed in several paradors on our recent trip to Spain and enjoyed them all, but this one was our favorite. Pros: excellent meals with a gorgeous view for night time dining. Safe nice neighborhood, excellent service, lovely orange tree grove. Plenty of parking. Front desk will provide map of cordoba, directions. Cons: pool not open regularly, construction going on... more

Hotel O.K but a little jaded. Room O.K too but, again, jaded. Worst aspect was the staff: Check in staff were very short of smiles & we didn't feel welcome at all. Restaurant O.K but very short of choices & staff unconcerned / didn't care - except for giving you the bill which was presented before we'd even finished dinner!... more

Cordoba was our third stop in Andalucia. As we were driving from Granada in our rental car we didn't want to deal with driving and parking in the center of Cordoba. We also wanted a swimming pool which made the Parador the obvious choice. It was very easy to get to from the highway and turned out to be a... more

We stayed at this parador at the end of our two week trip to Spain. Weary from sightseeing non stop, we enjoyed this hotel for its large pool and nicely landscaped grounds. The area around the pool is grass and there are plenty of lawn chairs and umbrellas. We had a simple lunch by the pool at the hotel snack... more

We stayed in a junior suite (room 301) at this hotel June 1-3. It's a good, but not outstanding hotel. I would say that it is Holiday Inn quality, maybe a little better. It was very clean and most rooms have a nice view of Cordoba and the rolling hills in the distance. Taxi into Cordoba was about 9 Euros... more

Very large rooms with decent decor. The hotel is looking a bit dated in some areas but not massively so. It's a fair way out of town but there is plenty of parking. When we stayed there was a special offer which included breakfast, this was a decent buffet style affair which lasted until 11. We didn't love it here... more

This parador is in a good location overlooking Cordoba, the food choices were limited but very good, however the rooms really let this Parador down. The whole Parador is badly in need of upgrading, the decor in the main areas looks 'sad' . The bedroom was in need of updating and the bathrooms whilst basically clean were looking exceedingly 'tired' and... more

This is one of the big new-build Paradores, very reminiscent of the one in Toledo, built on the edge of town and anywhere else could be a Holiday Inn or Ramada. Indeed this one is set up very much as a conference centre as a hotel, with all the hustle and bustle in the public areas that goes along with... more

In spite of it being called a Parador, it is a good functional modern hotel with beautiful garden and swimming pool. THis is more of Holiday Inn/Hyatt then a local european hotel. You can find other Spanish style hotels in town if you are looking for local experience. more

Excellent comfortable room, more of suite ,overlooking the gardens and pool. Lovely terrace off dining rooms. Attentive staff, excellent service and menus for carnivore ,coeliac, vegetarian and diabetic. Poorly signposted from the city centre and one lift out of service. Plenty of parking. Heard mixed reviews of this hotel but glad we stayed, particularly good value due to the "dias dorada"... more
