Pluses: The location was pretty much everything here, the hotel was right next to the Cathedral/mosque. The breakfast was brilliant and surprisingly inexpensive... Probably the best we have experienced - a fine selection of fresh fruit (very rare in Spanish hotels), yoghurts, jams and spreads - all for €7 a head. Minuses: The room was very expensive... The most we... More

When we checked into the hotel, Hernando noticed that my wife walks with a cane so he told us he would try to get us a room closer to an elevator. There were no rooms with a double bed but there was a room with 2 singles so we took it. Did I mention that it had a view of... More

Review for July 7th, 8th , 9th. The Air Conditioning was broken two out of three days when temperatures soared to 109 degrees. No discount offered for the problem. The manager at check-in told us that the breakfast buffet was included, but at check-out the bill included a fee of 7 euros per person per day for breakfast, even though... More

The hotel is literally across from the walls of La Mezquita, so location is not a problem. Not sure I would've like to drive there, but it's about a 15 min cab ride from train station. We did end up having an interior room, as we are 3 people, and I understand that only the singles and doubles face outward.... More

I loved the Moorish influence all the way through Cordoba, its a beautiful town, I missed out on the Spanich Riding school show which I did not know existed. I googled one in Spain and nothing came up!!

I'm basing my review specifically on the fact that I got the room I wanted because of advance research. Had it been a different room I have no idea if I would have been happy. After reading many reviews I knew for sure I did not want a room facing the interior "courtyard" and after being there I'm positive I... More

The location of the hotel could not be better just metres away from the historic Mezquita. However there were some negatives with the hotel, in that the shower was not working properly and the breakfast was ok but not brilliant. I think it would be helpful too if somewhere in the hotel's description it is highlighted do not attempt to... More

Hotel Mezquita is situated in a lovely old building and has the wonderful mezquita only 20 meters away. We liked our bright room and for the price of the room you can´t ask for more. Breakfast was more than adequate and the dining room was lovely too. We were very satisfied with our stay

I stayed at the Mezquita for 3 nights and I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel itself is decorated lavishly and the hotel staff couldn't be more kind. The breakfast buffet is $4 per person (I think) and provided yogurt, different kinds of breads including chocolate stuff croissants, fruit, orange juice, milk, coffee and more. My hotel room... Excellent location in the heart of the old city, but quiet and peaceful. You can walk everywhere and there are plenty of good eating places close by. We traveled from Sevilla on the train, short taxi trip to the door. Don't miss the morning training session at the Royal Stables, a great free show!!
