We chose this hotel for a one night stay on our Andalucia tour. In Cordoba our main purpose was to go to La Mezquita in the evening - they do this night tours and it is much nicer than a daytime visit. So location was the first criteria for choosing a hotel. The hotel has atmosphere of an old Andalucian... More

Location best in Cordoba. Staff were efficient and friendly. I had booked 26/12/2016 as was posted out to me by reception on my arrival. Although busy they sorted out my 2 nights in a supreme room with views, and what views. A spit away from the Mezquita. Clean comfortable rooms, could've done with tea making facilities as there isn't resturant... More

Chose this because it look old and was facing the mosque. Did not disappoint. Like stepping back into the 1600 century. Rooms were comfortable and bathrooms very good with lots of hot water. Breakfast basic but ok. Do not go here if you want plush modern room but if want atmosphere and a sense of history, this is fantastic.

There is a lively little outdoor cafe right outside, but it quiets down. The central location means it takes only a minute to get to the Mezquita, and its within easy walking distance of all the sites around. Highly recommended. Out the door and down to the left is a street of excellent restaurants...from upscale to gelato shops.

Very convenient location. Room was clean, but very small, somewhat noisy. Locked area for luggage plus there was a small elevator for my area of the hotel. Breakfast better had elsewhere. Pleasant staff.

Room was clean. Very central location. Room decoration was lovely and very traditional Spanish. Lots of interesting furniture in the communal areas. However it was the noisiest hotel room we have ever stayed in. Avoid rooms facing the Cathedral (balcony rooms - 'Superior double with views'). We got less than 2 hours sleep a night due to people singing, partying... More

I guess it could have rated it better if I was in a different room. I was in room 11 and for rooms 3 through 11 there is no elevator and my room had no window. No help with luggage up the stairs and the breakfast was pretty bad. Service at the restaurant and hotel was also not very good

We've enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mezquita and you couldn't ask for a better location - just metres from the Mezquita entrance. Clean, comfortable and quiet hotel with a breakfast of excellent value - the best we've had in a three week trip of Spain.

Hotel is somewhat difficult to access by car (as most of Cordoba historic center)..you need to park about a 1km away (municipalty parking) and walk. But hotel is smack in center, next to Mezquita, so once you there life is easy. Rooms are clean and quiet. The service was good.
