We got off on the wrong foot trying to locate this hotel. It turned out to be fine in terms of accommodations although our room was directly above the reception desk which was sometimes noisy even during the night. Rooms were plain, beds were small but it was comfortable and clean. Breakfast turned out to be in what would ordinarily... More

I am at this hotel right now and have been for the past two nights. It is 5 in the after noon and the radio coming from a restaurant that occupies the courtyard is crazy loud. I am from NYC and know loud, but this is outrageous. I asked to be moved to another room and they offered even a... More

A quaint hotel right next to the cathedral in the Jewish quarter BUT no hairdryer, a rock hard bed and small for 2 people, one long pillow (strange), no safe , no bar fridge and a very cool response from reception on checkin. The size of the room was good but just those few extra things that people expect would... More

The only reason this place doesn't get full marks is because upgrading to a room with a view (and what a view, worth every penny!) put the price up to just under double, yet the shower didn't work properly and it was impossible to shower without flooding the entire bathroom. Not the sort of thing you'd expect in a hotel... More

Paid £175 for 2 nights superior room. No safe. Bathroom rather tired and shower curtain inadequate to prevent flooding bathroom unless you turned it down and squatted in the bath ! Bed rock hard. There is no computer for guest use and WiFi is patchy. Quite a phaff to get boarding passed printed by reception even with smart phone. The... More

Loved this little hotel with lots of character and a friendly, helpful staff. It is right across from the Mezquita as well as some of the other sites one will want to visit. A walk down the street leads to the river. Again, ideally located. The breakfast was a typical Continental breakfast juices, yogurt, cereal, cold cuts, croissants and other... More

We opted for a room 'with views' and this was a good idea because the view was the mezquita and the lively street below our balcony. The room was clean and comfortable with wooden shutters to keep out the sun when it got really hot (which was all the time in August!). The communal areas of the hotel were colourful... More

Fantastic location overlooking the main attraction in Cordoba, the Mosque, and surrounded by cafes, restaurants and little shops. Beautifully furnished rooms and public areas, nice bathrooms, helpful reception staff. Just one tip - they suggested we drive to the hotel then on to the car park: don't do this unless you want to navigate some very narrow streets. Follow the... More

This place couldn't be in a better position! Right in the middle of the old town, in the middle of it all. The hotel is stunning, with antiquity and charm in abundance! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the bathroom had all the amenities of a 4 star plus hotel. The staff were very helpful and the wi... More

My wife and I visited Cordoba as part of a touring vacation in Portugal and Spain. We stayed two nights and Hotel Mezquita turned out to be a good choice - though we got off to a challenging start. If you have a car you need to make sure you get good directions to the parking garages - I used... More
