I wholeheartedly agree with the other comments. We had 2 rooms -- a triple and a double overlooking the Mezquita. Both were large, immaculate, and well-decorated. My only minor complaint was that we could not get the triple room cool enough. This hotel is very beautiful and could not be better located. more

Loved it! A great value and the staff is super nice. Ask for a room with a view of the Mezquita, and take advantage of their breakfast, it is really a good deal for that part of the city. more

We have been to Hotel Mezquita during the weekend of May 1st. Therefore, the prices were higher than usual. The hotel has an excellent location right opposite of the Mezquita! At the same this means that it is rather difficult to get there with a car since most of the streets are really narrow and packed with turists. In addition,... more

Like so many hotels in this catagory the room you get can make a huge difference. I've seen reviews on this hotel that complain of size of room here. We were given at 1st. a small room with no balcony[which I had requested in booking]. We asked to be changed & were, then given Room 4 which was huge &... more

We stayed for 2 nights as part of our cycling country tour. The location was the best possible location right next to the Mezquita Cathedral. The room we had was sooo small, the big bags couldn't be wheeled around the 2 single beds. This hotel is still good value, even though it is small & the furnishings were old because... more

Superb value, and I mean it - I think we also paid 41 euros. I forget our room number, but it was the former chapel of the mansion that was formerly the hotel. It had a miniature dome above the bed with a fresco-like painting of a blue sky and clouds. Very high ceilings under the dome and the other... more

We stayed in room 25, and had a brilliant view of the Mezquita. We were right on top of a world heritage site, in a comfortable, clean, nicely furnished room for €41 a night, room only. There was no noise to speak of, and we were very pleased indeed with the hotel. We did not have breakfast in the hotel-... more

We had chosen this hotel for a recent trip to Cordoba after reading the reviews here and finding it very popular. The hotel is in a great location right next to the main attraction, the cathedral. The hotel is also located in the main part of the old city which makes access to all of the tourist locations very accessible.... more

Could not have chosen a better location. Room was clean, well lighted, and looked out across the street to the Mezquita. Furnishings simple but clean and more than adequate. Full bath in room. Staff helpful – I asked where I could buy thread to hem my pants, and instead was given a spool of thread to use. In-house breakfast rather... more

We were left stranded in Spain by bad weather in January (we don't fly - our overnight trains Madrid>Paris were cancelled twice) and decided to book a hotel in Cordoba . My brother-in-law who lives in Spain said we had to stay in the Hotel Mezquita and booked the rooms for us. I like 5* hotels, but am also happy... more
