Unfortunately only stayed one night. This hotel is quaint and has a great location. It's beautiful inside, has a breakfast room in the middle of the first floor which is skylighted but has a really open courtyard feel . The location couldn't be better, right across the street from the entrance to the Mezquita and a restaurant on the other... more

Perfect location, clean, quiet with character. We were right in the middle of the old city and right next door (litteraly) to the Mesquita. The room was basic, but the service was very good and the location could not have been better. Breakfast was typical continental - adequate to get us to lunch. We stayed three days. more

The hotel is 50 feet from the entrance to the Great Mosque ("Mosquita"). It is in a converted 17th Century mansion with only 12 or so rooms. The staff and friendly and helpful. We had room #10, which used to be the family's private chapel. A nice room with more space than usual for Europe and cherubs on the ceiling... more

Although the hotel is across from the Mezquita and close to the Jewish Quarters, I found that it would have been better to stay more north towards the city center. At night, everything around the Mezquita is mostly closed down and is a ghost town. The city center was lively, had a lot of great restaurants and cafe opened, and... more

We picked Hotel Mezquita for its location, but beware, the Old City of Cordoba is quite far from the train/bus station. Once in the Old City, though, the hotel was easy to find and very conveinent (its practically in the Mezquita itself). The area, while very touristy, was very quiet. We requested the room which used to be the building's... more

I wholeheartedly agree with the other comments. We had 2 rooms -- a triple and a double overlooking the Mezquita. Both were large, immaculate, and well-decorated. My only minor complaint was that we could not get the triple room cool enough. This hotel is very beautiful and could not be better located. more

Loved it! A great value and the staff is super nice. Ask for a room with a view of the Mezquita, and take advantage of their breakfast, it is really a good deal for that part of the city. more

We have been to Hotel Mezquita during the weekend of May 1st. Therefore, the prices were higher than usual. The hotel has an excellent location right opposite of the Mezquita! At the same this means that it is rather difficult to get there with a car since most of the streets are really narrow and packed with turists. In addition,... more

Like so many hotels in this catagory the room you get can make a huge difference. I've seen reviews on this hotel that complain of size of room here. We were given at 1st. a small room with no balcony[which I had requested in booking]. We asked to be changed & were, then given Room 4 which was huge &... more

We stayed for 2 nights as part of our cycling country tour. The location was the best possible location right next to the Mezquita Cathedral. The room we had was sooo small, the big bags couldn't be wheeled around the 2 single beds. This hotel is still good value, even though it is small & the furnishings were old because... more
