I was at Hotel Alfaros in September 2009 with a bus round trip through Andalusia. We spent there one night. When we arrived we got a key card for our room, that didn't work. I went to the reception and asked for a new one, which I got, but it didn't work neither. I called the reception from the neighbours... more

We arrived at the Alfaros the 16th of Aug, earlier booked via mail + phone. The room given was small and smelly, no fire alarm in it (R.110): we asked for a non smoking solution, but surely it was one smoking or a former smoking one. The front desk was not able to manage my complain properly, saying more or... more

I have stayed this hotel from 2nd of July to 10th of July ’09 and the reason for choice of the hotel which has the 4 star rating and has swimming pool as well as I got good B & B rate from the Gtahotels. During stay the hotel, they were doing refurbishment for 1/5 of rooms and a few... more

My friend and I spent one night here in April 2009. We booked a double on www. booking.com and paid 60 euros. This is not the most charming or unique hotel, and it's definitely not a destination onto itself, but for a tourist or business travel, it's an excellent, excellent value. The room was large and clean and decorated in... more

But don't let this put you off from coming to Cordoba. It's a great city, very beautiful, historic and very friendly but this hotel was one of the biggest let downs of our stay. The staff welcome wasn't very friendly; the room was clean but very noisy; the facilities very basic and when we asked we were told that there... more

We stayed here as part of our (self-organised) trip to Cordoba, Granada and Seville. We arrived late afternoon having caught the train from Malaga and were welcomed very well. We had a very pleasant room with two single beds (bigger than our friends room with a double bed!). The lounge area near reception is a pleasant place to sit and... more

I agree this is not 4 stars. The room was okay but it was carpeted and dark. The bathroom was fine but nothing special. It took ages for the desk staff to check me in and they did this manually even though they had a computer. Very little English spoken. I was staying just the one night so the accommodation... more

Stayed with wife and 13 years old son, five nights at the Alfaros hotel. Friendly staf. Rooms are well-equiped and clean. Large breakfast buffet. Price 80 €/night for a double room, breakfast included. Parking at 16 €/day. Hotel well-situated in centre. All sight-seeings within walking distance. One minor point : swimming pool is really too small in comparaison with the... more

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with my wife and 2 daughters. Simply delightful. Seems to have had a recent makeover. Lovely room with balcony and the pool was great for cooling off. The Breakfast was superb as were the staff. Can think of no negative points at all. more
