Check in was complicated by the fact that for some reason my booking had been cancelled by British Airways, who had arranged it and taken payment - and by mutual linguistic difficulties. When we were finally in, we found the room light and airy, with excellent and much needed air-conditioning. The Mezquita was just down the road, and took our... More

Spent two nights at this very special hotel closely situated to the Mezquita (a must see). We arrived in a rental car at the height of the Patio Festival which means pedestrian traffic was high. The GPS got us 25 yards from the hotel however the "street" narrowed to the point that damaging the car was likely and even if... More

On of the best hotel we stayed in our Southern Spain trip. Right at the middle of the old city. 5 minutes walk from the Cordoba Mosque. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most of them speak English. Breakfast not included. But there are plenty of Cafes within 5 minutes walk. Rooms and bathroom are very clean. Overall 5 star for... More

Lovely little hotel located so close to the Mesquita and other sights of Cordoba. Simple rooms with ac/heat, TV, en suite facilities. Breakfast is very simple and can be taken inside or in the small courtyard. Staff very friendly.

Great location in a side street close to the Mequita. I had a room on the 2nd floor which was located overlooking an internal courtyard. Nice and cool at night but the room was very hot during the day because the door was metal and heated up like a radiator when the sun blazed down on it. Roller shutters on... More

The hotel couldn't be better located: 2 min walk from the main attractions. If you want something low budget, this is the place to stay, but don't expect a 5 stars hotel. The room is clean but the deco is old. Staff is friendly. Wifi works really well. Shower is strong and hot. Don't bother coming with a car: impossible... More

Very good location, good service, the buidling is older with beautiful marble throughout - stairs, floors, walls, great decor in public areas, quiet room with a balcony over the enclosed courtyard. Good security, helpful staff, good English, front desk manned 24 hrs per day. Room size was typical for European standards in an older facility, small but good bathroom-shower, good... More

I love hotels with character. This one is budget priced, with inclusive breakfast and is decorated in moorish Andalucian style. Most of the rooms are round a central courtyard on different levels. Wifi signal is better on the lower levels The staff are friendley, helpful and speak English. I booked in for a second night later in my trip after... More

Most of the reviews I read of this hotel were not reflective of the experience the three of us had. Firstly, the location couldn't be better. But don't bother with the car park, it's cheaper and easier to park in the car park just inside the city walls (5 minutes walk away) which you can get to easily without any... More

I can’t reccomend to stay here alone especially if you are female.Because the window is only one and very small, the room is so dark, the security isn’t enough.Though I wanted to tell something in English, they can’t speak at all.So it was so hard to ask about the payment. The location is excellent but you can find a better hotel with a...
