Now there can't be that many hotels around that have roman ruins and mosaics being excavated in their basement, and whose walls are within touching distance of a 8th century mosque. History is literally all around you in Cordoba, especially in the heart of the old city which is where this comfortable, well-run hotel is. The reception staff give out... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on our honeymoon four years ago. I'm just this minute recommending it to a friend. The location can't be beat: it's right across the street from the glorious Mezquita and in the heart of the old city. The hotel was clean and modern and nice, with fabulous air conditioning--much appreciated in the... More

For our stay in Cordoba which is a tourist's paradise Hotel Exe Conquistador, provided us a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. Very centrally located with excellent staff, who gave service with a smile. Breakfast was well served and very substantial with a lot of variety. Very centrally located just opposite the Mesquita. The ambience is most picturesque. The room was... More

Just the restaurant of this hotel alone makes it worth it. They're food and service are first rate. That said, the hotel was very nice as well and had everything we could want in a hotel. It was clean, spacious and had a nice atmosphere.

Excellent location for the most important sites. Clean & nice. Surrounded by numerous restaurants for all tastes. Being in the centre it's great that it has it's own underground parking. Staff very pleasant & always willing to be helpful.

We stayed at this hotel after a short stay in Sevilla and were delighted to find that the hotel was located bang in the centre of the old city. As soon as you step out of the hotel, you can see the Mezquita directly in front of you and souvenir shops and restaurants on either side. The hotel has a... More

Stayed here for one night en route to Granada. Our room faced a part of the Mezquita that was under construction so it was a bit noisy but the view was still cool. Unfortunately, that was the only part of the room we enjoyed. The beds were uncomfortable and hard, the location was noisy, and the room was somewhat outdated. We... More

This is in a great location to everything. The courtyard is pretty and a nice place for a drink. The hotel is a little run down and probably not 4 star. Towels and sheets not soft, hallways need updating. The bed is hard as a rock-the hardest we've experienced in 2 weeks in Spain. Pillows were plentiful and great (not... More

We recently stayed two nights at the Conquistador and it was fabulous. Very centrally located in the old town of the wonderful. It's of Córdoba with lots of attractions, restaurants and bars close by. The staff could not have been more helpful and the outside space was a haven of tranquility from sightseeing and the hot afternoon sun. we will... More
