A good 3* hotel although considers itself a 4*. The location is 5* and we had a reasonably comfortable stay. It was bigger and busier than we expected and did not get the service we expected. The breakfast was only average and no personal service at all, even had to queue each morning to use the tea and coffee making... more

The hotel is halfway up a steep street - don't let that put you off. It's bang opposite the Mezquita - yet still manages not to be too busy. At certain times of day, the traffic is blocked, but this wasn't a problem. Have breakfast earlier or later, that way you'll get a seat in the beautiful large patio. The... more

We got a great deal for this hotel, but were a bit put off by some reviews before we went. Were very pleasantly surprised - lovely comfortable hotel, very clean. The location could not be better - right next door to La Mezquita, definitely the highlight of our trip. The patio area of the hotel is superb - quiet and... more

We travelled as part of a small arranged tour (two couples). The hotel is directly across the street from the Mezquita. You can't get more central than that! Large quiet comfortable rooms, and a lovely open courtyard at the back which is perfect for an evening drink or meal. Our only tiny concern was the lack of interest shown by... more

The hotel is ok, the rooms are clean but dated. I am just disappointed that despite numerous attempts to refund an overcharge not one of my e-mails has been answered. My advice is check your bill thoroughly. Note that you will have to pay Euro 12 per day for parking even though the car park belongs to the hotel. more

Value for money is pretty good. The place is not flash and the rooms are OK and clean. Unfortunately there was a function on, so we had a bit of noise from that until late at night. We had a room opposite the Mezquita which was a pretty amazing view, especially at night. parking is not free (like all Spanish... more

We stayed for one night and chose this hotel based on price, availability and proximity to the Mezquita since we had only half a day in Cordoba. The Mezquita was literally outside the front door, so it certainly delivered in that respect. Our room was not much - we had a triple which made it a bit tighter, and the... more

Location impeccable. Service distracted and s-l-o-w. Room small but clean. Good water pressure in the shower. Abysmal wall-mounted blowdryer lived up to only half its name: it blew. Biggest problem was having reserved a nonsmoking room and being assigned a smoking one. We went back to reception and got switched to a nonsmoking room directly above the previous one. The... more

My friend & I, both 72, stayed at this hotel, having booked it on the internet, which can be dicey. We were delighted with everything. I am sorry that other travellers found the staff unhelpful, when we were there the young lady, who seemed to be almost permanently on duty, spoke very good English & couldn´t have been more helpful.... more

Follow my advice, don't go to this hotel. We chose this hotel because it was very close to The Mosque and because it was rated 4 stars, and because of all the good reviews on Trip Advisor. It is hard for me to understand how anyone could have been happy with this old hotel with a tiny room, horrible bed,... more
