This hotel is across the river from the Mezquita, which means each morning, you must enter the city in the medieval fashion, a short walk under the Calahorra Tower and over the Roman bridge. A most enjoyable way to greet this most mysterious of cities. The hotel had nice modern rooms, with attractive washrooms and comfortable beds. more

Stayed here with spouse for 5 day convention. This is no where close to being a 4 star hotel. First the good features: Location is perfect, near Roman walking bridge and across from Mesquita Staff friendly and helpful Room large and clean Free room wi-fi but signal week and very slow Negatives: This hotel needs a complete renovation from updated... more

We found this hotel on the internet for 55 euros a night per room. We were given adjoining rooms so our daughter was right beside us. Our room had a huge double bed, a desk, mini bar (that was quite reasonable) and a nice bathroom with very hot well pressured water. Our daughter had a twin room that was very... more

Stayed here for 2 nights early in August. Ideally situated to walk across nicely renovated bridge to old town - 15 minutes away. Room spacious, clean and quiet with free safe and useful minibar, beds a bit hard. Small pool with complimentary towels, limited number of sunbeds but people generally only stayed for a short time, so not a problem.... more

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel itself was average, the beds weren't very comfortable, though. Friendly staff also. The AC and the yummy breakfast was great! We were out sightseeing most of the time, we really weren't "at" the hotel except to sleep. This is an ideal location for exploring the old city. We walked over the old... more

I stayed in the Hesperia for three days. It is a fine modern hotel with easy access to the old city of Cordoba. The view from my room was remarkable: the Roman Bridge and the Mezquita across the Guadalquivir River. The hotel has a swimming pool and lounge area, which are a sheer necessity in the mid-summer heat. (And since... more

Stayed 2 nights with our young family. Rooms very tired and could have been cleaner. Service in cafe/restaurant was terrible, for exemple weren't we allowed to sit at a table with tablecloth and napkins, because we had children with us, but got moved quite aggresively. Roof-top bar closed during our stay. Cheap rates although they didn't include breakfast, which then... more

We booked a two night stay at the Hesperia in hot, hot, hot July and were delighted with our choice. The hotel location is great, just a short walk to the Roman Bridge (walk across and the Mesquita is to the right and the Alcazar to the left), and the views across to the old part of the city are... more
