The accommodation at Hotel Don Paula is adequate and could do with some improvements but the lack of "luxury" is more than compensated by the exceptionally helpful and pleasant manner of the staff who despite having limited command of English did their best to ensure that we saw all there was to see in Cordoba. Additionally the hotel is a... More

Very pleasant, family run hotel, well positioned in historic quarter of Cordoba. Best to prebook and pay (12 euro) for garage parking. Staff most pleasant and helpful. Best to follow their instructions on how to drive to hotel as GPS can't keep up with one way system changes! Great strolls from hotel to Mesquita along attractive alleys. (Try visiting the... More

We only stayed at Hotel Don Paula for a brief overnight stay, after reading other excellent reviews. Upon arrival, without our asking, the host spent at least ten minutes showing us maps, giving us directions, recommending where to go and other helpful hints. We took a taxi but the hotel can be a bit difficult to find if you are... More

I would simply echo the comments of the other favourable reviews. Pleasant simple friendly hotel in a great location in the heart of the old town (we got lost finding it and we were on foot) convenient for the sites of the city. Nice clean rooms, very helpful family staff, free Wi-Fi, quiet location. What's not to like? They don't... More

Located in the older part of Cordoba the family run hotel Don Paula was an excellent base from which to walk to the main city attractions of the cathedral and the castle. Our room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom, while the bed was comfortable and the room quiet. We arrived ad departed before and after the listed... More

The location is perfect, a few min walk to everything, without being on a busy street. The rooms are very nice and clean, with an old school charm (great value for what you pay!), but the best part were the staff. They were so warm and took time to describe a wide range of things that locals would recommend but... More

This is a low key hotel but clean and comfortable (free soft drinks in the fridge) just a short walk from the ancient centre. No breakfast, as has been mentioned, but plenty of places nearby. Make sure you contact them for instructions to find it - you will struggle if not! And pre-arrange parking.

This modest hotel is very good value for money. It is not pretentious. Our room was small as was the bathroom but both were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was quiet at night. The hotel is only about 10 minutes' walk from the Mesquita and only 5 minutes from the old Jewish quarter. Meals are not... More

Stayed here one night only. Location was great. Close to Old Jewish quarter and walking distance to cathedral. Room was one of the cleanest we had ever stayed in. Hotel had an elevator which was very nice. Price was right. Very reasonable. Only drawback was no breakfast which we had every place else we stayed. If a meal is not... More

Like everyone else has commented, this is your pretty basic hotel...OK bed with a small bath with shower. However, it's a pretty good central location near the center of the city if you can find your way back through the labyrinth of small streets. Note: you can navigate with a GPS device when walking, as long as the GPS can... More
