We found the staff (Esther) very welcoming. She emailed us in advance to confirm our arrival time, and everything was in order when we arrived. Our room was right at the top: three flights of stairs, but luckily we had little luggage, and was on the small side (but this is a fonda, not a hotel), but very clean and... More

Positives - clean, adequately sized private room. Shared showers/toilets on each floor were also clean. Hostel is on the corner of a very large and lively square a not too long stroll from the centre.
