A superior hotel!!! My mother, three sisters and I surprised my Aunt for her 70th birthday. My mother grew up in Jena. The staff was knowledable and more than accommodating even though I don't speak German. The vast breakfast buffett was so filling that we would skip lunch and find a fun place for dinner. I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and thought it was excellent. The room I was given was very spacious with a good bathroom. A 21 inch tv meant not having to strain your eyes and it also had in house movies and a mini bar but no room service. The breakfast was buffet style and was again excellent... more

Good value for this new hotel in Jena. The rooms are spartan but smartly constructed so that you have all you need in an economical space. Comfortable bed, good climate control, and filling breakfast. Especially well located if you are visiting the university. more
