An extraordinary experience overall. Charming, central, outstanding service..... All you expected was delivered. The attention given by staff and management exceeded my expectations by far. Highly recommended if you'd like to be apart from the usual.

Two years ago, I felt this is perhaps the best hotel value in Eisenach. Despite giving it only 3 Points, I still recommend it. The staff at Villa Anna was and still is totally customer oriented. Alas, there are not enough of them, and they are often on the run. The hotel is on the hill across from the Wartburg.... More

I stayed in Eisenach while driving from Nijmegen to Dresden, because I wanted to break up the trip and see some sights. Thanks to other reviewers I picked the Villa Anna and am glad that I did. Eisenach is a great city for sightseeing, and the hotel was really great. The owner clearly takes a lot of pride, as the... More

Clean, friendly, very comfortable stay. Yes, it is 31 steps up to the reception from the street parking, but if you have trouble with that there is no way you will make it up to the Wartburg castle. Breakfast was not included in the room rate, but well worth the 13 Euro - fresh fruit, made to order eggs, meats,... More

Trip advisor reviews warned us about the steps, which are many and steep, so we were prepared. The rooms were very clean, quite good-sized, and the bathrooms had both tub and shower, and were also spotlessly clean. The staff members were all extremely polite. The internet service was spotty, but useable. We (three) ordered the sausage platter and the cheese... More

Crispy white sheets, spotless spacious white bathroom, wonderful breakfast, and warm & friendly staff. The selection of food for breakfast was extensive. For a small out of the way boutique hotel in Eisenach, this is the place to stay. Be sure to use your GPS to find the hotel and note, there is a long flight of stairs to carry... More

The hotel is a fine destination for visitors of Eisenach and is high perched on a hill in the city's well known judgenstil area. The street leading to the hotel is really steep so would not recommend for people without a car. The rooms are well equipped, staff very friendly and we could enjoy a wonderful sunset from our bedroom... More

This hotel is a ten minute walk from the centre of Eisenach in a lovely location up a hill. The staff were very welcoming and spoke excellent English, much better than my limited German. The room was clean and spacious and the wifi worked perfectly. Breakfast was fantastic. It is easy to park on the street and the neighbourhood is... More

We booked the hotel based on the reviews from TA. The hotel is about 5 min drive from the Wartburg castle and city center. The hotel is located at a residential neighborhood up on a hill. Our room was 2 story up (no elevator) in addition to the flight of stairs from street. The room was spacious. Bathroom was well-appointed... More

I stayed here for two nights whilst recovering from a flight from Australia. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with an exceptional breakfast selection! The location is just out of town, but it makes an excellent base to walk up to Wartburg. The staff were very friendly and worked with my very limited German vocabulary. A very pleasant stay!
