We stayed in the hotel for one night, as it was close to family we have in the area. The receptionist were very friendly and helpful, though some speak better English than others. The only issue we had with our room was there was no hot water. We inquired at the desk about it and they looked into it for... More

First: if walking challenged, STAIRS only to even the hotel entrance. Be aware. Historical but that is not what we travel for. It´s an okay place. Receptions very nice and efficient. Breakfast, extra, fine, outdoor afternoon snack service. Room very large. Just was not very exciting, by our standards.

The hotel, which has been used for many a purpose over the years, is now a charming place to spend a few nights, especially if you have one of the large, spacious and cosy apartments which were previously officers quarters when the hotel was a pilot school. The decor was homely but stylish with all the necessary mod cons. The... More

We stayed as a family of 4 in one of the separate apartments~very generous space, large rooms, comfortable beds and very clean. Not much road noise, and a small terrace at the front. There was a cot available in the apartment for a potential 5th guest, and space would not have been an issue at all. The front desk staff... More

In a forest-setting; quite hilly despite being originally the site of one of fatso Goering's air-training schools! Main building and reception includes a very good restaurant with a wide-ranging German menu including an excellent breakfast buffet. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed for four nights in one of the apartments, detached from the main buildings and very quiet. Generous... More

We stayed at this restaurant 4 nights. Close to town (Elsenach). The rooms are a good size, with good bathrooms and a walk in robe. We ate breakfast and had three diners at the restaurant and each meal was of good quality. We found the Hotel staff very helpful. I would return to this Hotel.

We were there for a long weekend trip to Eisenach. I was traveling by car so the location was not at all a problem (it's sufficiently near the town). Very friendly staff, very good restaurant, and the rooms were nice, clean, and quiet.

I recently stayed here for 3 nights with colleagues on a business trip. The hotel is located closer to the village of Stockhausen than Eisenach. Eisenach is a 10 minute drive and the main Autobahn can be reached in a few minutes though its proximity does not affect the hotel as there is no noise detectable. The road at the... More

This hotel is located in Stockhausen, a 10 min drive from the centre of Eisenach. It is also very close to the motorway, 1 minute drive, but the motorway cannot be seen or heard from the hotel. The rooms are in a separate building. The bathroom and bedroom have net curtains and the fabric curtains have no blackout lining. There... More
