We stayed one night at the Hohenzollern on our way up to Denmark. I chose it because I needed a larger parking area for my car and my boat. This was provided, though not on the large parking lot of the hotel, as two buses had already taken that space. The hotel was full of elderly people travelling by bus.... More

I have stayed in this hotel before, and the hotel is a bit old-fasioned - in the good way. The furniture is from the last century, but the service is very friendly. Fair prices, lift and good parking. A good bathroom, but the space before the toilet was too small, only for kids. The internet is German Hotspot, where you... More

The interior of this hotel looks like nothing has changed for at least 30 years. Especially the breakfast room looks like it's from the DDR. It's all very outdated. The main building smells of countless years of deep frying, not pleasant. The breakfast was basic, we didn't eat much. We had a very basic room in one of the other... More

In the slow, sleepy town of Schleswig, in need of a stop-over heading to Mosel, we landed in this hotel. And had a good sleep and a good breakfast. This is not a 4-star wannebe or in any sense pretentious. This is a nice, simple hotel, but it delivers as expected. We got a room in a building down the... More

The web states a lift but not to our rooms.Smoking in the indoor lobby. The whole Hotel has a stale smell outwith fag smell! Braekfast was the poorest of any hotel in Germany we came across. This place should be avioded. Its was the same as our visit over three years ago , it has not had a good clean .

had to stay for several nights in the hotel. the room was small but clean and equipped with everythings what´s necessary. the access to the broadband/wifi is a bit complicate and not covering everywhere. i found very helpful and friendly staff, thank you! good local food on the menue and a rich breakfast.

We staid overnight on way south. Unfortunately being a bit stressed I didn't check out Tripadvisor before calling on route to make a reservation. Room was on bottom floor of annex building ca 100 mtrs from hotel. Extremely bad sound proofing meant that every sound from corridor entered room and vice versa. Breakfast OK. Price not high but still not... More
