Based on trip advisor reviews, we booked this hotel for a 4 night stay and were not disappointed. It's not cheap but there is a high attention to detail. We arrived by train - its so near the Travemunde Strand railway station - if travelling from hamburg Airport and you're a small group, simply download a Schleswig Holstein Day Card... More

Fantastic view over the Baltic sea, Strandkörbe und Schiffe in a very special atmosphere, quiet and luxury surroundings, excellent service. Restaurant and lounge bar both offer a similar view than that of the higher floors.

The hotel is the former Casino of Travemünde, also called "Ostseeperle", and still has the stylish flair of the 19th century, it´s all about tradition and old style. Located right at the beach boulevard, you have sea view from almost every spot since the hotel isn´t that big. Beautiful outdoor sitting areas for the day, the fancy 3 star restaurant... More

Having known this house already when it was a five-star Casino I enjoyed our recent stay very much. Staff are very relaxed and friendly - upon arrival in our room we were treated to truly fresh pastries. Then off for a relaxed afternoon in a "Strandkorb" on the beach just a few steps from the hotel grounds. Dinner at Holstein's... More

A quick overnight to enjoy the in-house Michelin Starred restaurant on our may to Copenhagen. Check in was nice and quick and we were shown to our upgraded room. Furnishings are relatively classic, rich colours and traditional/old fashioned style bedding and settee. We also were able to sit on a shared balcony and enjoy the small glimpses of sunshine. Be... Stayed in a room of the lowest category (komfort), but the room was very good with top quality furniture, a super bed, good bathroom and a terrace with deck chairs. Included in the price of €145 per night is breakfast, and a free mini bar of non-alcoholic drinks. The hotel has a prime location close to the beach, offers various... More

We stayed for 3 nights in a Maisin room in the top season of the annual festival week. Regrettably we did not get a room with balcony, due to late booking. This is a fantastic hotel, beautiful interior and exterior with perfect location! The staff is also well educated and trained. Guarded Parking on hotel front area -10 Euro pr.... More

I had the pleasure to stay here for 4 days. It is a great hotel with very personal service with complete offering of "wellness" (sauna, etc). Travemünde is a very pretty small coastal town with a small gishing harbor. It is great for meetings ir a relaxing weekend.

Went there for a family meal in the restaurant. Not hotel guests. Fabulous ambience, old hotel and grand rooms which hark back to more genteel times at the turn of the last century, where the great and the good would gather. Those times are long gone, sadly. Unfortunately, a bit of atmosphere has been lost as well. We went for the... More
