I stayed at this hotel---although I know it as Hotel am Sophienhof--for 8 days while helping my adult daughter set up her apartment in Kiel. Our room and bath were very spacious, given European standards, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was substantial and tasty. The staff were helpful, courteous, and friendly. the hotel costs pretty much, but i guess it's because of it's location - center of Kiel. It definetly needs to be renovated! Bathroom was very clean and fresh, but the room needs to be repaired. It was told in the booking.com that it has 3 starts,but i definetly could say it's 2 stars hotel with 4 star hotel price.
