Other then being in a very good location (right next to train station and by the bay) would definitly not recommend this hotel. - They will automatically charge you 11 Euro's for breakfast unless you explicitly tell them you do not want it a full day before. Very modern hotel without any atmosphere, but fine location next to railway station. No noise from trains - fairly small rooms, all very modern and clean. Effient place, but absolutely no feeling of being anywhere special. Rooms on separate 3 and 4th floor with lift connecting to lobby on ground floor. Long climb when lifts do not work! more

I just spent two nights last week in Kiel. I had to find a hotel quick, and Maritim was booked, so I was hooked by a price, comparable to Maritim, expecting the comparable hotel level.
