I have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions now and it has become one of my favourites in terms of convenience, comfort, friendliness, breakfast choices and especially value for money. We needed a hotel near the A2 motorway in Magdeburg area and we found Hotel Sachsen-Anhalt on hotels.com. We stayed here one night (22/23 July). The room was clean and very comfortable. Stayed overnight 6/12/07, arranged by booking.com, requesting a double close to the lift (my wife was recovering from a hip replacement). Very easily found (3 minutes from Autobahn), ample parking space and friendly, efficient receptionist. Large, well-equipped room and bathroom on the first floor next to the lift.
