Very friendly and helpful receptionists. The rooms are rather small but intelligently furnished. Sound insolation good and keeps off the noise of nearby trains. Sufficient parking available.Touring cyclists welcomed. Breakfast abundant and quickly replenished. Free ticket for townwide public transport with timetables available at reception although all remarkable places of Magdeburg are in walking distance.

Like all the InterCity hotels, this was built chiefly to lodge German Railways' staff between shifts and so is right next to the railway station in Magdeburg.
