OK, it's about 20 minutes from the centre of Leipzig on a tram and it's located next to a burnt out building, but get over this and you're fine! The staff were all really friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again. Free parking was good and a free tram pass for the duration of the stay was... More

I highly recommend this hotel. We chose the non-refundable room rate without breakfast and it is great value for money. The rooms are a good size with a large bathroom and flat screen TV. There were signs of wear in places, like the carpet or shower tiles, but hardly noticeable for the price. The number 16 tram stops nearly outside... More

The hotel is located at the supberbs of the Leipzig city. It was quite convinient for me, because I just needed an overnight during a 2-day journey. And I found the hotel great for that purpose. The rooms are spacious and clean but ... plenty of ants was walking around. However I didn't care them ;) The hotel have a... More

We booked this last minute and it was an amazing surprise. The staff were very friendly when we needed them, parking on site, the hotel is directly near a tram stop which goes straight into the city centre and they gave us tickets for, the room was well proportioned, very clean and just what we needed for one night. The... More

We stayed overnight at the Grand City Hotel Leipzig Messe on route to a wedding. The immediate area is not exactly charming (a seemingly burnt out building right next door and a bit of an eyesore) but the hotel staff were friendly and the room was a bargain for the cost. The breakfast was over-priced at €10 each for some... More

stayed last Saturday and Sunday night; Positive points: location: only 2 stops with the tram "Strassenbahn" to the showgrounds "Messe" and a spacy shower in the bathroom but towels are worn. Negative points: very unfriendly response from personnel to questions like: "our room is very hot, is there a way to cool it down besides opening a window?" or for... More
