LOCATION. The hotel is brilliantly located between the most central part of the city and the railway station.
ROOMS, STAFF and BREAKFAST. I can't say much about the hotel because it's a classical Ibis. Rooms are usual for the brand but maybe a bit shabby. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is also very standard (I mean standardly good).

it was very pleasure stay in the hotel, but in the cristmas's night we took a dinner in the hotel and the service was very bad. we spent almost 2,5h to have a dinner because the recepcionist was in bad mood.

Very good location, only a 5 minute walk to a bustling nightlife. Excellent bar staff. Reception staff very good, they went the extra mile, ensuring I was charged correctly and also by offering a map and checking to make sure everything was satisfactory.
The room was clean and although fairly small was actually a reasonable size for two.

Hotel is brilliantly located for the main shopping and restaurant/bars of the city and virtually acros the road from the main railway station. Reception staff were very helpful.

Small, basic room but good location, convenient to train station and city center. Lots of restaurants, cafes and stores a few blocks away. Don't miss the Stasi Museum ("Museum Runde Ecke") with English audioguide.

The Ibis was a standard hotel - a step up from a UK Travelodge. Loved the 24 hour bar that served snacks - homemade pizza very much appreciated at 11pm after a day of flying and driving. Every year I go to Leipzig for the Wave Gotik Treffen festival; and each time I've stayed in a different hotel. This year I opted for the Ibis due to its very central location, and reasonable price (all Leipzig hotels are very expensive this time of the year, and book out insanely fast!)
