Exceptionally well equipped apartments 1 block from Frauenkirche in the heart of old city. Near transportation, shopping, including an Aldi's grocery. Restaurants nearby. Don't expect hotel services.

The apartment had a washing machine, was spacious and the wi-fi was fast and reliable. We found it very comfortable and there was a good supermarket, 'Rewe', about 10 minutes walk away.

Our room overlooked the Frauenkirche and main square in Dresden. Very convenient location also meant some noise at night, since it was summer and we had the window open. But overall--worth it. Staff was okay, but you had to ask for service if you wanted it. They did not volunteer much information but did help when asked.
