Stayed three nights in December, and loved the apartment and its location in the city...two minutes from the Frauenkirche. Beneath our window was the Muenzgasse Weihnachtsmarkt, with Christmas music playing throughout the day...which made the stay wonderful. The apartments are spacious and very well fitted and even have a washing machine as well as a kitchenette. The only way you could get nearer to Fraunekirche would be to sleep in the church itself and the front door to the apartments leads straight onto Munzgasse, which is the main entertainment area and is therefore very convenient for bars,... We spent 3 nights here. The service was fantastic, lots of room, a kitchen if needed, and the added bonus was the wash machine in the bathroom - although there is no dryer.
