When I stayed here, I chose to stay in a 10 bed dorm and really wasn't expecting much considering the reasonable price. I was so wrong - the staff are lovely, the hostel is clean and organised and the facilities are great. Only minor snags for me were that there was only one private female shower (the others are open)... more

I stayed at an apartment with my family. The room was spacious and had a clean and lovely kitchen. Almost everything was available in this kitchen and we enjoyed cooking our meals there with the ingredients we got cheap and fresh at markets nearby. Everything was fine. It's only a short walk from Neustadt station. It was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. It cost 4 euro 50 extra. We are vegetarian so there wasn't much for us but for others it was fine. There was one computer for free internet. How could they improve? Not be so moody when people arrive late!!!... more

I went to Dresden in Sep 2005, stayed in kangaroo-stop hostel for 3 nights. Overall impressions are very attentive staff, clean rooms, almost new bathroom.
