It's been an enjoyable stay at the Hotel Maritim Dresden. On the down side there has been a problem with the T Mobile high speed interet service. I assume that this is not the norm. more

The Maritim is a nice conference-type hotel situated about a 10-15 min stroll from the Altstadt, in a quiet area near the river. The rooms are very large and comfortable, and the service is efficient and pleasant. Yes, the business about the elevator cards is true. Yes, it's also true that the rooms not facing the river go to a noisy street and an empty lot.
