All was OK, except water. Water from the sink was grey and dirty, It leaves sediment on the hands. It's not worth 60 EUR. But you have kettle and small kitchen. PS. Hotel is really too far from city centre.

The hotel is located rather far from the center of Dresden, some 300 m from the final stop of tram 4 (Laubegast). Also the hotel has own parking place, though it is possible to park in front of the main entrance. The hotel is popular among the Germans, so it is often fully booked on national holidays. Some rooms are... More

Nice experience. Clean & tidy rooms. staff is also friendly. Value for Money. No Restaurant Service except breakfast, but that is good. We arrived in the Hotel late night, no one was there at the reception, so had a little difficulty to check in. All we felt there should be 24 hrs service at the reception for convenience. Rest all... Our first problem was finding it. We knew it was quite a way from the city, but the directions we had were completely wrong, although to be fair this is probably not the hotel's fault. We arrived after 6 to find no-one at reception and it took some time to actually get checked in, when all we wanted was to... More

In a recent trip to Germany, we stayed at the Hotel Prinz Eugen in Dresden. The hotel was very reasonably priced, the facility very clean, the room larger than average, and the location in a quiet residential neighborhood but just a 5 minute walk to the tram! I will stay here if I return to Dresden or look for one... More

This hotel was great. It was kind of different in that there was no one manning the reception. The front door was locked, but my husband managed to pry the glass doors apart, then we found an envelope with our name on the deserted counter. In the envelope was a key to the front glass doors and to our room.... More

In suburbs of Dresden. Good price value but don't expect much. Its very basic, but I often see such hotels in Germany, Could be made a bit more modern. We didn't have breakfast included although we could get it for 12 Euro.

Good, safe car parking in this hotel. Once you climb the steps into reception, from there a lift will take you to your room level. Reception staff were very friendly and speak excellent English. Great breakfast – all you could want in a varied breakfast – fruit juices, muesli, cereals, croissants, beautiful breads and rolls, eggs, bacon, pork balls, cold... More

We chose the hotel for one night stay, and booked a comfort room via hotels.com. There were no problems, the receptionst spoke English, the parking was for free. Our room was spacious, clean, and looked just like the rooms on the official hotel photos. There was even a small kitchen, but unfortunatelly without any equipment, except two glasses and a... More

We spent this Christmas with good friends who live in the Laubegast neighborhood of Dresden, so our choice of hotel on this trip (the Prinz Eugen) was dictated more by location than by quality. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel with restaurant, room service and someone manning the desk 24 hours a day, then you'd be better off... More
