We had a beautiful room and a good stay at the Hotel Bulow Residenz in Dresden. Our room was huge, and well appointed. We booked a double room, and paid 129 euro/night. While we were disappointed to be in thepartner hotel residenz and not the upscale designer building, we were delighted with the quality of our room. Breakfast was extra, but bakeries are only a block away. It is a short 5 min walk to the old town area, but an easy walk with spectacular views of the city.

A great place to stay, spacious rooms, friendly staff, great location in a buzzing neighbourhood. small shops, restaurants an of course their own michelin star Caroussel. Parking garage ( 16 € ! bit expensive) on a 80 euro room. nevertheless it's great.

Extraordinary restaurant: attractive decor, well spaced tables, delicious food beautifully presented, friendly unpretentious service. Very nice room, although in a different building on the street. If visiting Dresden to see the tourist attractions, located 20 minutes away on the other side of the Elba.
