This was a mini-break (for 3 nights) to visit our daughter who's a language student in Dresden. I booked a junior suite and it was, without a doubt, the best hotel room we've ever stayed in. It was huge, comfortable and luxuriously appointed. The Hotel staff were lovely and all spoke perfect English; nothing was too much trouble. I would... More

One of the most luxurious hotel on our trip, the room itself almost felt bigger than our apartment back home. Very nice service with attentive staff. The room was clean and big. Even though it felt luxurious it was not that costly. It was located on Neustedt, close to the bohemian quarters of old Dresden which wasn't bombed that heavily... More

We received a double upgrade due to a booking issue and ended up with the Bülow Suite! We were so appreciative as this upgrade meant we didn't have to change rooms after the first night due to a last minute extension to our reservation (on our part). We had two bathrooms, bedroom, living room and an office/meeting room. It was... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in September. The location was very handy, being just across the river from the old town (with nearby bridge) and plenty of places to eat in the immediate vicinity. The room was excellent and special praise must go to the young lady on reception who was fantastic throughout our stay; arranging... More

First rate hotel. As a hotel it more than provided the level of quality and service that one expects from a hotel in Germany in this price bracket. It is located a 15 minute walk away from the principal tourist sites, in a quiet up-market residential neighbourhood. Far enough away from the mass of tourists. The hotel has a sister... More

Excellent hotel Great service, charming staff and very clean Breakfast was very rich Around the hotel there are plenty of great restaurants and public parking for only 6 Euros a day Gettiing to the old city is only 15 munites of casual walk Really the best choice we could have made for a hotel in Dresden

After a less than great lodging experience in Berlin, our three day stay at this hotel was a wonderful surprise. It feels rather like staying at the home of gracious and wealthy friends, who employ highly trained staff. Which shouldn't be surprising since it was renovated and is run by a local couple and is not part of a chain.... More

The Hotel welcome surpassed all other welcomes we have received on our extensive European travels over the past five weeks. We entered the lobby and were greeted most warmly. We were given a glass of sparkling wine as high points in the City were described. Great decor, great location. The Best!!!!

No question this hotel was the most elegant that we visited during our trip to Germany, 4-stars instead of the usual 3. Unfortunately, while nice and luxurious feeling, this does one no particular good when one doesn't wish to hang around one's hotel. If you are someone, however, who wishes to lingerl, then this would be an excellent, cost-effective choice.... More

The Bulow Residenz provided a great base for our too short three day stay in the wonderful city of Dresden. The location is in the lovely Inner Neustadt neighborhood a ten minute walk across the Elbe to the Frauenkirche area. The rooms are quiet and luxurious. The breakfasts (not included) are elegantly presented and quite good. The area abounds with... More
