We spent one overnight while in Dresden for the citylauf. Hotel staff was friendly and check in was a breeze. Rooms are small and beds and bathrooms are smaller but you get what you pay for. Breakfast (included) was good but crowded. Location is perfect directly on the shopping street near the sights.

This Hotel is one of three IBIS Hotels in a row in the centre of Dresden. Good-size rooms, a friendlly Reception and a wide-ranging, value for money Breakfast, less than 100 metrers from Dresden Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof), make this a good choice.

Our wonderful experience in Berlin didn't prepare us for this dreadful property. Every person who worked there was surly, rude and extremely unwilling to help us with our questions. The room was no bigger than a closet and it's a good thing I really love my husband because the bed was an oversized single. The city was beautiful and we... More

Location There are three ibis hotels located next to each other. . It probably won't differ which one you will chose. We chose Ibis Konigstein because we found a suite.. the suite was for about 70 euros per night (as far as I can rember). The hotel is in the middle of the shopping area.. 5 min Walk to the... More

“Ibis Königstein” is definitely a no-frills hotel. The air-conditioned standard room where I stayed as a solo traveler, was a small double room, but sufficiently large for a single person. The furniture was functional and in good condition, albeit not particularly appealing or stylish. However, I appreciated the bright reading light at the bedside and the large number of foreign... Yes, it's large and yes, one might say it's a bit impersonal situated between it's two identical sister hotels. But the sleeping rooms are a decent size, the beds comfortable and the breakfast is fine. As far as Ibis hotels go, this is one of the best we stayed at. Easy walk between the train station and the old town.

My second time in Dresden, but first time in this Ibis. Located in the main street at a 5' walk from the train station. The room was big enough and well clean. Plenty of hot water for an early morning shower. For those that work like me the breakfast starts at 6h30AM. I also had a fish dinner with pasta... More

Ibis Konigstein in Dresden is a good choice of stay. There are 3 Ibis side by side, so it seems to be very similar. This one is fair enough. The room is not so big, with a standard breakfast. Location is really nice. A lot of stores nearby, but close to the city as well. No garage but there is... More
