A good hotel in a great location. Close to city centre Trier and still away from the noise and hustle bustle. The restaurant had great vegetarian options and were accommodating of our requests based on dietary restrictions. The rooms were decently sized. Given it is rated as a 4 star hotel, there were no tea/coffee/hot water kettle facilities in the... More

While on a Christmas driving holiday, we found the Blesius Garten on TripAdvisor and decided to test the comments. We found that hotel was very conveniently located outside the city centre and in a very quiet position. Our rooms was large and very comfortable. Our check in was quickly handled and we found the staff were always friendly and very... More

We found this hotel to be really nice and very welcoming. Tucked in the woods but still close to the main roadways, Blesius Garten was a surprise discovery. The hotel is clean, but looks a bit outdated (we did notice construction going on around the premises). Our room was on the third floor, very cozy and comfortable. The chocolates were... More

Very Nice hotel. Great staff. The food is excellent with a lot of variety. We took the 'Discovery' arrangement (Kennenlern) and all the dinners were amazing. The breakfast is also very good with a lot of variety with many bio products. The beer from the home brewery has a great taste. The bus to the city of Trier stops right... More

Felt that the staff weren't quite as interested in pleasing us this year. There were a lot of delays in replenishing the breakfast items and it wasn't particularly busy. The rooms were far to warm (end of August) thus preventing a good nights sleep. Restaurant service was quite slow, but the food was tasty and plentiful, probably it's redeeming feature.

We were booked into this hotel for a business trip but decided to stay an extra night because it was so good. It is a little out of town but all the better for that ( there is a lovely walk through allotments down into the city which takes round 20 minutes - well worth it) My husband loved the... More

The hotel is great for couples who want to visit the city and also enjoy some nice quiet time in a romantic spot. It was easy to take the bus into the city and took no more then 15 minutes. The beer garden restaurant and microbrew is a must visit. The food is excellent and the microbrew beer is great.... More

Nice and cosy hotel, with all the features promissed in the description being excellent. Located in walking distance to the city center of Trier and even closer to some very nice wineyards to go and taste excellent local wines. Restaurant of the hotel serves great food and drinks (tried some nice local beers and wines where).

When the locals converge to eat at a local hotel its a great sign - and the Blesius Garten serves terrific meals in a outdoors courtyard which has "atmosphere". Room was clean and certainly had space to spare and the bed was very comfortable whilst the bathroom was pleasant and clean albeit not spacious. Secure cycle storage available and regular... More

We arrived at this hotel as a last minute stop. Since we did not have any reservations, the hotel staff was only able to accommodate us for one night. The room that we stayed in was quite small and not air conditioned. An interesting touch to the hotel was the ornate decoration. I think it made the hotel seem gaudy/tacky,... More
