This Inn on the outskirts of Trier is wonderful. It has the best cuisine, most welcoming atmosphere and attention to customer comfort I have experienced in Germany. The breakfast buffet is to die for, and both the brewery pub/garden and restaurant are excellent...it is frequented by locals and visitors and incredibly welcoming. This was everything we expected - a clean and comfortable room, friendly and attentive staff, and excellent beer brewed on site. The small pool and sauna area were clean and warm, although the standard German convention of only using a sauna when fully unclothed applies, so the sauna isn't for the faint-hearted!
