The hotel is great for couples who want to visit the city and also enjoy some nice quiet time in a romantic spot. It was easy to take the bus into the city and took no more then 15 minutes. The beer garden restaurant and microbrew is a must visit. The food is excellent and the microbrew beer is great.... More

Nice and cosy hotel, with all the features promissed in the description being excellent. Located in walking distance to the city center of Trier and even closer to some very nice wineyards to go and taste excellent local wines. Restaurant of the hotel serves great food and drinks (tried some nice local beers and wines where).

When the locals converge to eat at a local hotel its a great sign - and the Blesius Garten serves terrific meals in a outdoors courtyard which has "atmosphere". Room was clean and certainly had space to spare and the bed was very comfortable whilst the bathroom was pleasant and clean albeit not spacious. Secure cycle storage available and regular... More

We arrived at this hotel as a last minute stop. Since we did not have any reservations, the hotel staff was only able to accommodate us for one night. The room that we stayed in was quite small and not air conditioned. An interesting touch to the hotel was the ornate decoration. I think it made the hotel seem gaudy/tacky,... More

My Aunt and cousin reserved the room for me and everything about it was perfect. The rooms are big and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was just like my Oma's growing up! I didn't eat dinner or lunch at the hotel because my Tante's home cooked dinners I know were better lol. Though there is a... More

Pleasant stay.rooms more modern than the pictures show.food delicious, but the bar area was a little lacking in atmosphere and was a little cold. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

A gem of a Hotel half-way on our route from A to B. Once found (without GPS, only a map), it is a peaceful luxury well worth more than one night. Efficient, multi-lingual and pleasant staff throughout the hotel, made us feel like valued guests, even the workers who were busy renovating some of the bedrooms overlooking the beer garden.... More

We were looking to stay at place off the beaten track on route to Paris with easy parking for our motor home. We also wanted to have a rustic German experience and not worry too much about luxury. We had managed expectations and kept an open mind we had a nice welcome to the hotel by the staff who were... More

When entering the reception area we were not impressed at all. It's not very welcoming and it needs some refurbishment. It was loud, too: noises coming from the bar. That was soon forgotten when we came on the second floor where our room was. It was a pretty large, nice and clean 'comfort' room with good beds. The bathroom could... More

A nice hotel, but with a few things to bear in mind: first it is a way out of town, so you need a car or a taxi. Second, it has a very popular beer garden which runs late into the evening, so rooms that overlook this (which is most of them), can be noisy… and smoky if you open... More
