If you are looking for a trendy modern hotel, this is not the place where you have to be. But if you are looking for a comfortable hotel with very well maintained and very well cleaned rooms close to the center, this is the place to be. But most of all, we enjoyed the very warm and helpfull welcome at... More

I was delighted with my stay at the Hotel Vinum. Everything about it was lovely - great location just across the street from the train station and within an easy walk of the town center (or you can catch the bus just across the street); The room and bathroom were much nicer than in a far more expensive hotel where... We are on a bicycle tour. Great hotel, friendly and warm welcome. They have a separate safe room to park your bicycle. Simple clean and they even offer you a welcome wine bottle in your room! Recommended.

Great hotel, clean, reasonably priced, and quiet . Room and bathroom a little small, but everything fairly new. Great breakfast. We didn't hear any noise from the street on the 3rd floor facing the street. Staff was a big help. We rented our bikes at the train station across the street, and they kept them for us safely. There are... More

We selected this hotel because of its location (directly across from the Train Central Train Station), as well as the reviews in TA. We also liked the concept of employing handicapped individuals - and them working hand in hand with all employees! Our room was good sized - very clean - and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, but quite small.... More

Big rooms and bathrooms. Free wifi and strong airco. Breakfast was good, with local products. Staff was nice. Hotel has a few parking spaces in a nearby public parking lot, which they offer at a discount. Location was convenient, a 10 minute walk from the Porta Nigra.

This hotel is the best you can get if you will be using the trains and buses to move around the area. It is directly across the street from the train station and bus platform. Inside the station is a manned tourist information stand as well as a staffed train counter. Both of these proved very helpful for getting around.... More

Stayed only one night but it was a really lovely little place. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us and ensure we knew about the area and local things to do. The included breakfast was great! Probably the best breakfast I've had (as I've been travelling around Europe the past 6 weeks, staying in... More

I've booked this place for my student group 3 summers in a row now, and I've not been disappointed once. The rooms are clean and look modern, the staff friendly and even my chaotic group bookings always went smoothly. The hotel partly employs handicapped staff (eg. hearing impaired), which I think is a very good way to go. Since it's... More

Excellent location - opposite the local bus station and main train station and a short walk into the centre. Very good breakfast with loads of choices. If you catch the Flibco bus from Franfurt Hahn airport to Nells Park inTrier, you can easily get local buses to the main train station/hotel. It has a lift which is handy after long... More
