We have stayed here three times now and have loved it each time. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel staff is welcoming and helpful. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and found the food excellent. We were particularly pleased that the hotel offers a separate vegetarian menu. Wifi is free and fast. More

Excellent location next to the Roman gate and museum. A short stroll from the centre. Decent food provided for half board evening meal, very accomodating for specialist diets e.g. gluten free, etc. Meals were served in the sister hotel just across the street. If your looking for posh this hotel isn't it but, it is a terrific value for your money. The hotel was very clean, rooms comfortable and not too dated, staff friendly. For the driving tourist, it has secured parking down the street. Using your GPS and hotel directions, drive past the hotel front door, take the first right on a narrow street (looks more like a typical American alley, but it really is a street) and the lot is on the left. Staff were friendly and recommended places for dinner. Useful location for walking around the town and close to the Christmas market. Good alternative hotel for conferences at the ERA, given it's about a half-hour walk, or 7/8 euro taxi journey to the conference venue. More
