The rooms were excellent, the breakfast excellent, the location within easy walking distance of the old center and the various walks along the river. The room was big enough, clean, and well appointed. There was noise on the Friday night at 4 a.m. - hardly the hotel's fault but there is no a/c so we had the window open. Even... More

Visited Koblenz as the first stop on a three week tour of northern Europe, nice clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast to boot. In a good location although the safe car park was a couple of hundred metres away.

I decided on a whim to take a short trip around the Middle Rhine and accordingly Koblenz was the place to start. I stayed there for one night and chose the Trierer Hof after checking their website and the reviews already available round here. The hotel is located in what I would consider to be a perfect location for Koblenz:... More

If you are in a car trip through the Rhine river route, Koblenz is a mandatory stop. And the Hotel Trierer Hof has everything you need for a very good stay. It is located near the old center, a few minutes walk from the main attractions of the city, such as Deutches Eck (where you get the cable car to... More

Although it was quite a long 20 minute walk from the station, the location for Christmas markets and sightseeing around the old town area was great. I arrived very early but they made my room ready within half an hour. There were no tea of coffee facilities in the room but there were two bottles of water free. There was... More

One night stay here enroute to Nuremberg and Rhine Valley. Extremely comfortable and convenient for the Old Town and all attractions. Extremely helpful staff enable us to make the most of our limited time in Koblenz. The breakfast dining room was immaculate with a good selection of buffet items. Our daughter and family were given a suite which would have... More

Wakefield wanted to stay close to the centre so chose this hotel. We liked the secure parking just a few minutes away; the friendly staff, size of room, breakfast, free wi-fi, central location, free ear plugs in room. This is a city centre hotel so will be noisy , do not let that put you off just use the ear plugs.... More

Friendly reception, parking is a bit of a nuisance but at least they have a solution and it's workable. But it does mean unloading then moving the car and the same reverse procedure. The dedicated parking is around 300yds away. The rooms are fine, clean and functional, no complaints. The hotel is very easy to get to off the B9,... More

Stayed here for one night in September 2014. The front desk lady was very nice and recommended and amazing restaurant, ALT Coblenz. The room was awesome - very Harry Potter-ish with dormers and pop-up windows. We went down the hall and then up a special staircase to our room at the top of the hotel. The room was large and... Hotel Trierer Hof seems to have seen better days in terms of architecture and decoration. The curtains were too thin and not long nor wide enough to cover the entire window. Since the hotel is facing a very well traveled road, you will have issues with sound and brightness. An eye mask and ear plugs may help you. Fortunately, I'm... More
