The location is near the river, a bit way from the main part of town but Koblenz is not that big and can be reached easily. The hotel is spacious, the rooms were quite nice - colours and some decor a bit over the top. Service was very good and Internet is free, more

This hotel is a solid effort. You will be pleasantly surprised by quality of newly refurbished rooms. The hotel is ideally located, being 5-10 minute walk from old town and right beside the river. However, the hotel menu is very expensive and the internet access charges in the room are quite expensive. Hotel would probably be best suited to a... more

We received an upgrade to an executive suite as the room we had booked had been given away. Reception staff are polite but aloof and seem to prefer dealing with the business clients rather than the tourists. The hotel is located on the edge of the city, but close to the 'Deutsches Eck' and the old part of the city... more

Writing this review from my sweltering hot hotel room as the AC is broken. Hotel was fully aware of the problem as they later admitted but checked me in nonetheless without even mentioning it. Upon complaining I was brushed off brusquely then offered free breakfast for the sleepless night ahead. Alternative: open the window and be eaten by moscitoes as... more

Lovely hotel on the bank of the Rhine. Hubby & I stayed there with friends at the beginning of February and found the hotel to be lovely. The rooms were of a good size and were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We stayed on the 7th floor and had a beautiful view of the Rhine. Staff were friendly and helpful.... more

Having booked a superior double room on the hotel website we were disappointed on arrival to be told that there were no doubles left only twins pushed together. The receptionist offered no apology for this, which was annoying, but overall the room was fine. In general we found reception staff unhelpful, verging on rude e.g. unable to help advise us... more

The hotel was completely refurbished this Summer and the bedrooms will all be very good once they have solved their teething problems. These are that: in many rooms the air-conditioning will pump out only warm air; and in parts of the hotel the water drains so slowly from the showers that the trays easily overflow and the bathroom floor becomes... more

Our family took three rooms for a two night stay. The man at the front desk was not friendly, but other staffers were OK. Hotel is not in a good location. Requires a walk under a highway and then eight long blocks to get to Old Town. On the way back in the evening with everything closed we were uncomfortable... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in late July 2007. The hotel is within walking distance to the center of Koblenz, located by the Rhine river. Parking is available for a fee in a garage on-site. The room had a view of the Rhine river which was nice but the room was on the smaller side and the bathroom was... more
