My partner and I stayed here for two weeks during August. We stayed in a few rooms in the hotel as we had originally only booked for one week and the hotel was pretty busy, but we were happy to try out different rooms. Every room we were in had beautiful views of the mountains surrounding the hotel. We had... More

This little "family hotel" may have seen its better days. The adjecent garden was presumably fantastic - as long as it was kept. For various reasons the maintenance seems close to nil. The view over the Mosel and the tiny little wineyard deserves a better fate. But is still great! Staff is friendly and helpful; dinner was "as much as... More

We stayed here one night and were satisfied. We are giving 5 stars after common agreement of our group (5,5,5,3). The location is wonderful, room clean and nice, just need some work at the bathroom - hooks for towels and dresses - to feel better. I would also recommend to keep at least one terrace for non-smokers. Thanks, keep improving... More

I've stayed there with my husband and 3 children for a holiday which we really enjoyed, the hotel is very nice and cosy with beautiful surroundings of the marvellous nature and the stunning mountains. Talking with the staff we found out that the hotel is under new management who took over recently, and we believe they are doing a very... More

Though in a beautiful location, this hotel is so amateur you could swear you're in a German version of Fawltey Towers. We stayed just one night, thankfully. Arriving 30 minutes later than expected, we called ahead to be told it wasn't a problem, and we should ring the door when we arrived. On arrival, we ringed and waited. Nothing. Then... More

This place was adorable and could be amazing. But it hasn't been kept up great. The old wing was pretty dark. The stingy owner has the light timers on for 30 seconds. Our room in the new wing was a good size and nice. But the beds weren't so comfortable and there were no drapes to keep out the morning... More

We stayed here as the owner of our original hotel had been taken ill. Therefore all bookings were transferred here and it was full. We had an attic room which was very basic but OK for one night. Evening meal was very nice. Breakfast was fine. The best bit of this hotel is the big garden which stretches up the... More

The rooms are very basic and dated but clean, the breakfast was nothing to shout about so was the evening meals.I felt sorry for the owner she should employ some more staff when coach parties are here ,she was working from dawn till the bar shut about 1 am .There was an older man I think it was her father who... Cannot complain about the view. Room was VERY basic but clean. No kettle but luckily other friends had one we could share. The restaurant food was very good. My main gripe was with the attitued of the lady owner. It felt as if we were too much trouble for her being a group of 16. Some of the group were not... More

the hotel is located minutes from the Mosel river and on a good bus route into Koblenz - the route takes you along the river and the scenery is lovely. The hotel is very peaceful being surrounded by a heavily forested area and there is lots of birdsong mornings and evenings. We had a front room and had lovely views... More
