Just spent a few days in this lovely family owned hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful--patiently making sure both my tablet and laptop connected to the internet. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, too. I really appreciated how quickly the carafe of coffee appeared at my table.

This hotel is immaculately clean. The owners are very accomodating. I have stayed here numerous times and they always bend over backwards to give us our favorite room. If the room is available, they allow early check in. If not, they hold our luggage and transfer it to our room when it is made available. They provide cool drinks in... More

This hotel is tiny and always seems near empty when I stay. The owner is calm and quiet, but always helpful if asked. He didn't understand the English spoken by a Scottish colleague at all - but in German I find him gracious and sometimes even drily amusing. Despite the antique exterior the inside is all smooth tiled surfaces. It... More

Basic but very clean hotel. Owner and wife very helpfull. Free wifi which is a must in this day and age. Breakfast modest but sufficient with fresh baked breads. Close to very good restaurants and bars.

The Stadt Hotel is a family owned and operated hotel within walking distance of the pedestrian zone of K-town. The owners live on site and have always been very accommodating. The rooms are simply furnished but are extremely clean and bright. There is a delightfully landscaped garden in the inner courtyard with tables if you wish to be outside. The... More

This is a cheating hotel which does not put any cancellation information on their English website and then points to a 4-page German document where they force you to pay 90% of the cost irrespective of when you cancel. Tried calling - utterly unfriendly person who laughs at swiping your money.

The hotel is clean and location is good. It has history and run by an elderly couple. It is good that they are able to do that. But there is no elevator and I had a rather heavy luggage. I had to carry it to the 4th floor. It is tough. They spoke limited English and not always available at... More

A great hotel value that is within 3 blocks of restaurants and shops. Very clean and quaint and must have been remodeled recently since everything in the room looked new. Budget and business travelers will adore this family operated no frills hotel with breakfast included, free internet and street parking.
