Stayed here for six nights including one weekend on a business trip. Helpful staff greeted us upon arrival. Since my room wasn't quite ready, they upgraded me to a suite. Nice! Shuttle service is available upon request. Kaiserslautern Central Station--7 euro. Frankfurt Airport is under 40 euro. If you have a group of peple going, you can split the fare.... More

We stayed one night in a lovely room with an attached anteroom room for our children. The room was large by European Standards but the hotel staff will tell you each room is unique so your mileage may vary. The bed was very comfortable (ask for an additional pillow if you like a firm pillow). The hotel is located a... More

I've stayed here many times, and the staff is always friendly and helpful, the breakfast is just fine, rooms are clean and comfortable, and for Americans, it's very close to Kleber and Daener Kasernes and within 20 minutes of Ramstein Airbase.

This hotel was fantastic. the staff are friendly, and helpful. The hotel itself is clean and very well kept. There is a main hotel and then they own the property across the street for bigger families like mine. The breakfast was good with bacon, eggs pastries, and all other goodies. Recommend this place to anyone coming to the K-town area.

My sons' and I stayed at this guesthouse last weekend after a football game that ended rather late; we did not want to take the 2.5 hour drive back home as we were exhausted. We had been in the luring ran for hours for the game and were just as state before cold and tired. They offer anytime checkin which... More

We have stayed at the Barbarossahof before and have returned. We liked the convenience and the atmosphere so much, we have returned on our journey out of Germany. The Barbarossahof is a quaint German hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is a little out of the center of Kaiserslautern (on the eastern edge--convenient to autobahn and US Military Kasernes... Our family of 2 adults and 3 children stayed one night in late June. Staff was very courteous and walked us over to the building across the street to personally show us where our room was instead of just giving us a map. Which we very much appreciated. There was plenty of parking available. The room was spacious and clean.... More

Parking is limited. Wifi sucks. They have a jammer to block you signals so you have yo use the wifi in the lobby or pay the 2euros a night for their wifi. Rooms small ok if you are alone but with a family it sucks. Yes it is traditional but could use a face lift. Spa and solarium not working.... More

I have had a nice time there. The rooms are very well maintained. The breakfast is also good. Above all the staffs are very welcoming and friendly. All of them speak English and German. Nice and quiet place to sleep.

We booked a family room for 2 adults and 3 children thru hotel.com for 126 Euro a night. We then added breakfast for the five of us for less then 10 Euro additional at check-in. The breakfast is standard German breakfast fare - good but not extraordinary. The hotel is divided into a couple of buildings. Our room was across... More
