As any other guest or local to the area, will respond to your mentioning of staying at Hotel Heymann, is such a good choice of a hotel with great reputation. It is close walking to all downtown, less than 1 block from newly opened mall, and close to many shops and restaurants, so you don't need a car at all... More

I have traveled the world over several times and the Heymann Hotel in Kaiserlautern is one of the best and provided a very memorable and enjoyable experience. It is very clean, very safe, and a great value; Boris and the staff are wonderful, friendly, and extremely helpful. To add to the ambiance it is close walking distance to modern and... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night while seeing a show in Kaiserslautern. We selected the hotel because it was directly downtown and only about a block from the show venue as well as many great restaurants. We were greeted by the owners during check in. They were amazingly friendly and provided us with a map where they... More

Echoing others, the staff and service here made Hotel Heymann a wonderful stop along our trip (May 2013). After casually inquiring our reason for travel, (my husband was born abroad on the nearby Air Force base; this was his first trip to Germany) the staff provided outstanding site and restaurant recommendations, even historical context, to make this sentimental trip even... I would be remiss if I did not write a review to detail how much I greatly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Heymann. I stayed at this boutique hotel from 13 July – 18 July for business. Upon arriving, the property owner, Boris, greeted my colleague and me and whisked our bags to the third floor. Upon leaving, his wife,... More

Stayed here with my wife and adult daughter for one night. The front desk was excellent, thoughtful, and extremely responsive. Hotel has a separate locked at night garage and was shown where to park personally. Tight spot but it's Germany and expect that here. Offered help with bags, since it was three flight up and no elevator. Comfortable room with... More

I stayed here last November and again a few weeks ago in June. As before, everything was great! Boris and Patrizia are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcome in their hotel. I usually need a rental car for business so having the private garage to park in is really nice. Their breakfast is awesome (great coffee, fresh bread, good... More

The hotel is nestled amid cafe's, a wonderful ice cream shop, a tavern (that serves very tall cold beer) and a pizza/Italian restaurant down the block. The owner's Boris and Patricia are very caring people that make sure your stay is comfortable and a pleasing experience. The rooms are very clean and a breakfast of cheese/meats/breads/pastries/and fresh eggs to order... More

The behavior I witnessed from the manager of this hotel was absolutely terrible. I stood there as he yelled - that is no exaggeration; he was yelling at the top of his lungs - at myself and my friend, a young woman, because we had dared to question a charge. The manager is a tall, imposing man, and he was... More

Smaller hotel with limited amenities. Rooms are on the small side but very well priced. Breakfast was included and very good. Placed looked closed when we arrived late, but access was fine after we rang teh bell. The only real challenge was that there were no heavy drapes. The room looked like it was day time in the middle of... More
