Stayed here with a friend during the World Cup in Germany as we could not get accomodation in Dortmund. It turned out to be a great choice. The hotel is a fairly modern building with balconies overlooking a busy square. In fact it would probably not be out of place overlooking a beach in Spain. However the rooms were a good size, clean and with all the usual requirements. Breakfast was on the top floor which had good views over the town and the food was fine. The staff were all very pleasant and they typified the rest of the people we met in Recklinghausen. The townsfolk could not have been more courteous and welcoming and we were genuinely sorry when we had to leave. If you are in the area this hotel is definitely worth recommending.
