I have stayed in this hotel twice once in Feb 2014 and in Feb 2015, both times for three nights. The rooms are super clean and pleasantly decorated, with everything in good condition. The staff is courteous and very helpful. There is an excellent breakfast buffet from 7:00 to 10:00 each day. It is centrally located and quiet! I can... More

This German (non chain) medium sized hotel is very well situated within a short walk of the centre of Münster. The facilities are good with a great breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with a good level of English spoken. Hard to find fault with the experience. (NB You can reserve a parking space if needed)

The hotel itself is a little dated physically, but everything worked well including good heating and wifi. The breakfast inc in the room rate is excellent, wide choice of hot and cold buffet, as well as plenty of fruit. But this hotel's crowning glory is its staff. They are polite, engaging and helpful, and everything they say they will do,... More

The hotel is located rather ideally just inside the old town a few blocks from the University. All the interesting sites are nearby and walkable, and Muenster is a lovely city. The hotel is small with rather dated rooms, cramped elevator, small lobby, etc. Anyone who was used to traveling in Europe 20 years ago would feel right at home... More

This hotel is priced like a 5* hotel, but service and rooms are mediocre and reflect more a 2* motel value for money. Big disappointment that we will never again visit nor recommend to any friends or colleagues. Pity the choice in real 5* hotels is so poor in Munster.

The location of this hotel is excellent. The breakfast is good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The wi-fi is aweful - one of the slowest I have ever experienced and although the rooms are clean, they are small and could do with some attention. If you are on the front, you have to sleep with the windows closed... More

I've spent eight nights at Ueberwasserhof Hotel last July, and had a realy great experience. The location is perfect: very close to the university and the center of the city. Within a walking distance to everywhere (the lake is within a 20 min. walk). There are many pubs and restaurants in the surrounding, once it's a students' neighborhood. Excelent breakfast... More

I stayed here for a week on business. My room was spacious, clean, and very up to date. I thought the front desk staff was courteous and I appreciated that they let me conduct all of the business in German (I don't get to practice it that often). The location was good, nice and quiet with easy access to pubs... More

Rooms are very small. The TV is up very high, making it hard to view. The first bottle of sparkling water is free. The hotel is located in a nice area, close to the old town. The front desk staff is not too friendly, but the lady in the breakfast area was. Some rooms only have baths and some have... More

We did not receive the most warm welcome from the front desk but then again, we were not there to see them but there is see the beautiful city of Munster. Our room was small with none of the modern conveniences that I am used to having in a room like individual heat control, iron/ironing board, telephone, in-room coffee maker,... More
