very nice surroundings close to the very old and nice center in Muenster. In winter ( Christmas markets ) and in summer a good retreat in quiet surroundings with all kinds of relaxing possibilities. Also the Zoo is in close neighbourhood. Full breakfast available and a very tasteful choice of ( also real english ) meals. The menu for your... More

The rooms in Parkhotel Schloss Hohenfeld are just what you can expect from a typical average German "Gasthof". A clean tidy room with enough living space, a spotless clean bathroom with shower stall and ample towels and good beds; the beds are indeed improved since my first stay some years ago. However, regarding amenities to be expected in a four... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. I chose this hotel for its location near to Muenster and the Allwetterzoo nearby. It lies in a lovely quiet location, just the thing after a day walking round the city. There was a small pool and jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing before dinner. There was also a sauna, but we did not make use... More

Stayed here before on a business trip as recommended by the local company. Whts is good about the hotel ia the restaurant and the food. Apart from that cant say much positive. Lack of signal, though this is not the hotels problem, and the Internet is very poor and next to useless. The room I had the phone was not... More

Set in the countryside but very convenient for the city. I loved staying in this tranquil spot. The restaurant was lovely and eating on the terrace in the evenings was very pleasant. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, something for everyone. The staff were very helpful with maps and information and I enjoyed my bicycle ride after all Munster... More

The Parkhotel, as name suggests, is set in a park-like setting just outside Munster. Getting into Munster is easy - a short walk to the bus and then a direct 10 min drive into the centre of Munster. The breakfast was really good. Dinner was quite formal in the main restaurant although there is also a more informal pub-like restaurant... More

The Parkhotel Schloss Munster is defined as a out of town relaxing place. If you are a business person and happy to travel (15 mins) to get to the town and want a quiet place then the Parkhotel is all OK. The rooms have no tea/Coffee making as these have to be ordered via room service. The restaurant offers good... More

This hotel offers OK rooms as well as Swimming Pool and Sauna and an excellent breakfast. The hotel is situated about 15 minutes car drive from Munster CBD where a number of nice restaurants/ caffee shops can be found. We enjoyed being there for a night.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights to explore Munster and do a Christmasmarkettour. We had stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago but it was still as good this time. Breakfast was extensive and you could also order extra dishes for free at your table (omelettes, hot waffles) Staff was very kind. The hotel has a pool... More

Going again a weekend to Muenster, the selection of the Parkhotel Schloss Hohenfeld was a no-brainer (see my previous review). In that review, my complaint was that the beds were uncomfortable, but the nice clean room we occupied this time was equipped with comfortable beds. Service of the staff: Still 5 star. Buffet breakfast: Still 5 star. Room: 4 star.... More
