Stayed for 3 nights at beginning of January with my wife as part of our Silver Wedding Anniversary celebrations. As someone has commented there was scaffolding around the building and it would have been nice to have been informed of this before our visit. However it was still very quiet and did not cause us a problem. The bar and... More

Stayed overnight in December as part of a small group on a trip to the lovely Christmas market in Munster. Noticed that the Mercure website does not indicate the hotel is undergoing renovations and your room is likely to have scaffolding in front of your window. Was extremely upset and frightened when between 7:30 and 8 am the morning of... More

Stayers here for a night with a group of friends. Convenient location, modern rooms with quality bed but the best thing for me was the wine list in the small (lobby) bar containing around 20 quality German wines, of which many are poured by glass for decent prices. Would love to see that elsewhere more frequently. Bartender knew his wines.

We travelled to Muenster with Rhos Orpheus Choir and stayed en masse (75+ of us) in the Mercure. The arrangements were excellent, there was virtually no wait for check in and we were brought to the door by coach. The room was huge for the two of us and was very well furnished and had excellent facilities. Breakfast was good... More

I've been in this hotel several times and every time it has gotten worse. The rooms need serious refurnishing, the beds are quite uncomfortable and the shower has this plastic curtain that sticks to your body the moment you get inside. I complained in the reception about the poor quality of my room and they didn't provide any alternative. This... More

Stayed for one night with the 3 of us. Personell was very friendly and immidiately fulfilled our requests without hesitation. The room was een "Privilege kamer" which was very roomy although it was clean and big, the bathroom was a little small and overal the room was dated. It can definately get an update. Parking is a little challenge if... More

Excellent location on the park and city centre. Why not try the Mercure and enjoy the Leezer bar before a night in an excellent old town restaurant. Clubs and pubs are busy due to 60k students but be sure the shopping is top end for clothes and home interior. Home design is a local speciality you should realise! Take your... More

We stayed in a huge family room looking out over the back. It was quiet, spacious and had all the furniture (chairs and sofa) and equipment (coffee machine) we needed for our comfort and relaxation. Extremely well placed for exploring the centre. We used the municipal car park which is opposite the hotel.
