we stayed for 2 nights in April. Hotel was well beyond expectations in terms of room quality- upgraded to suite- with 2 balconies, food quality and service. We used the pool, which was great for our 8 year old and plenty room to relax. also walked round lake. Hotel is very quiet and relaxing, with sports facilities nearby. A real... More

Turned up late in the evening without having booked, and this was no problem. Friendly and helpful woman behind the reception. Although a chain hotel, this place still has ambience and personality even if it's not to my cleaner taste everything is well thought out and covetable. Really nice and generous breakfast with lovely views overlooking the lake.

My reason for being at this hotel was golf. It has quite some golf courses in the neighbourhood which I enjoyed a lot. After a round of golf I went for a relaxing swim in the swimming pool that is a lot bigger than available in other hotels. The view from my room over the lake was very nice. You... More

My wife and I stayed here recently, and were very pleasantly surprised by the accommodations, layout and location of the hotel. The room was spacious and accommodating, and the view over the lakes from our balcony was an unexpected treat. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Both my wife and I felt it was very a good value. There... More

...set in the outskirts of Munster on a quiet back road. My room was large, well appointed and clean, but sadly only a superb view of the car park. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The lake is actually an old, reclaimed gravel pit but is nice enough for a walk, with a small beach (no swimming!) and some wildlife. Right... More

The room was clean and in good decorative order though outmoded. There was a lovely view from many rooms and the terrace over a lake with trees and swans. The staff were very friendly and eager to help in any way they could. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of choice (hot and cold). There was ample parking: they let... More

Had dinner with a business partner in the nice restaurant.. Nice selection of menues, and a great wine menue to go along. f BUT BUT BUT... after driving 600 km to get there, you need a good rest to be able to work the day after....... not such thing happened... The hotel is VERY close to a railroad, where trains... More

Kratukraemer used to be a decent hotel, but now it's more a Kramladen for Krauts. The interior decoration is deepest seventies, brown and beige and yellow predominate. Although clean (apart from a few spider webs), this must really be updated if Krautkraemer has any pretensions of justifying their prices. The food is pricey too, but really nothing to shout about.... More
