Hotel Noy is a fine hotel where you will find some old fashioned details like a 'slow' elevator, non smoking sign everywhere (as if...) and a romantic breakfast room. Not your typical efficient hotel but because of that, I had a very welcome, relaxing stay. All hotels in Essen were full (Messe) but this was only a small metro ride...

I stayed during 4 nights-January 2012. Corporate rate is 85 euros including breakfast. They have the option of purchasing wireless -19.99 Euros during 600 minutes. No Gym.
Positives:
-Good location. 7 min walk to the Forum, and 1 min walk to the bus stop. The hotel is located right in front of the buses
-Good breakfast
-Friendly and helpful staff...

The personnel of this hotel made me feel like on holiday, not a business trip. I have got all help I needed plus many extra attention. Room was excellent - huge and comfortable. These people makes your stay unforgettable.

Great place to stay. Right in the middle of the pedestrian zone. Rooms are typical European fashion. The breakfast buffet is great as well as the service. My favorite place to stay in Muelheim on the Ruhr for business.
