After haven't visited the Palazzo for some years, it becomes clear that the hotel gets a bit outdated. Still the breakfast is ok with several varieties like baked egg, salmon, muesli and French cheese. However the reception hall, breakfast room and elevator are tiny. The rooms are in need of a serious update, although they are clean and tidy.

On the plus side, it was good value for the price paid. We had a nice spacious room and the whole place was clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. There is a lift available and the staff were friendly. There is convenient public parking opposite the hotel. On the minus side, the pillows were worst we've ever... More

The hotel was very tired the pillows were virtually non-existent, the mattress was extremely hard, then take in to account that there were no cups in the room; the only way to make a cup of tea was to use the coffee maker. Overall very poor would not recommend it for that side. But the breakfast was excellent, even though... More

Travelling by train to Monchengladbach to visit an event in the Borussia stadium located in Monchengladbach gives you the benefit of using the shuttle busses from the Central Station to the stadium and back. The Palazzo Hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the Central Station. We paid only € 59,00 for a business room incl breakfast. The room... More

Lovely hotel, the only one I have ever stayed in without anything to be irritated about. Plenty of parking space, easy and quick check in, great room with big windows that can be opened, complete with a fan, which was badly needed in these temperatures of 30+ degrees celcius and a truly awesome breakfast buffet, included !! This is just... More

Stayed at the Palazzo for seven nights during Medica. As advertised it is a three block walk from the central train station and very quiet. The staff was welcoming, helpful and though my German is marginal had English speakers on staff. Wonderful breakfast included. The rooms and common areas were fresh modern and very clean. The only downside is that... More

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights and it was more than acceptable. A well run, clean hotel with a big room and a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and filter coffee machine which was well worth using. Its a small place though and the breakfast room is a little bit snug. Lovely breakfast buffet with hot... More
