I use this hotel quite often and always enjoy my stay. Ok there are a few small issues occasionally but generally nothing to spoil my stay. Front desk is very welcoming and always helpful. I have eaten in the bar and restaurant and enjoyed the food in both.

Nice beds, lovely bathroom. Some rooms had a balcony. Reception staff and breakfast staff all very helpful and understanding of our poor grasp of German. Good public transport links to Düsseldorf. Nice walk around the square, church if you have time.

"Real" hotel with full service (for those traveling around small cities in Europe will be easy to understand this statement). Good size rooms with nice working area. European style beds and good size bathroom with shower!. Average European style breakfast. Restaurant is only open Mon-Fri, and didn't have the chance to use it. Little cozy bar with good selection. I've been looking for an alternative to the Dorint Hotel when staying in MG and I think I've found it. Aesthetically the Dorint looks a little better but the Leonardo is streets ahead on customer service. The receptionist actually smiled when I checked-in and the bar is a decent size. Another big plus for the English speaking business traveller is... More

I stayed in this hotel during my business trip to Germany. This hotel is at 10 minutes distance by taxi from the Moenchengladbach hauptbahnhof. The hotel is very quiet and has maintained the same standard of earlier Holiday Inn. The rooms are quite modern with all amenities and also have free WiFi. The breakfast has been very good with lots... More

I had a two night stay here and while the room was pleasant enough and the breakfast/dining room okay, the underlying infrastructure of the hotel does need an update. One of the two lifts was out of action all the time and the remaining one took an age to arrive. It was frequently quicker to climb the stairs to the... More

We had a one-night stay here, having previously stayed in it when it was a Holiday Inn; in fact it was a Holiday Inn when we booked it months ago. We payed €75 for a twin room. Have visited here many times for business. The view from the front of the hotel is nice. A large church setting upon a hill.
