We stayed here for a night and the room we had was spacious & clean. We had a room looking into the park, so, we could leave the window open & we slept very well. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.

While public rooms look very modern and recently refurbished, our reminded us of the early 90s. Although bathroom and room itself were very clean, carpet and furniture looked tired and in desperate need of replacement. Bathroom lacked proper lightning and ventilation, even after a short shower you had to open the door to be able to breathe. As the room... More

Not a bad hotel. I wouldn't call it corporate, more 'middle management', the sort of place where, after a company booze-up you come down to the self-service buffet rather sheepishly because the night before you had a few too many and said things you wished you hadn't and now it was time to face the music. You pass the familiar... More

Very nice rooms but not sure if they had aircon, my window was open. No minibar which for some may be an issue. Good value for money and excellent breakfast. There is a nice old industrial estate area nearby with lots of restaurants if you do not want to eat in the hotel.

This is a large, busy, nice looking hotel. Nice common areas, good breakfast, good service from the reception, practical inexpensive parking, free wifi. But the room is not up to scratch: no minibar(!?) no bathroom amenities (just an budget hotel type of liquid soap on the wall) no sleepers very few thin tiny towels tiny duvet heating switched off in... My last review of this hotel was not v positive and now I chose to review again because the stay this time was really an improvement. Room was clean, comfortable, more English channels available and service also improved. Arguably the best hotel in the vicinity as Hagen has limited choices anyway. It's a short walk to the town centre and... More

This hotel is 'Fine' I've stayed here three times for work and each time it's ok. Outside and in it's a little run-down, and like many central european hotels, it's not 'luxurious' and when you see '4' stars, this means 2.5-3 starts if you're from a new world country. It's basic (arguably the rooms are a little 'cell like') but... More

Stayed here very recently on a business trip. It did not look especially welcoming from the outside, but do persevere! The staff were very cordial without being over-attentive, the room was perfectly acceptable in all aspects, with an excellent shower unit above the bath. A wide & comprehensive variety of breakfast options made for a good start to busy days.... More
