We booked 2 rooms June 2014. 2 night stay. The hotel is in a good position 10 min walk into center. The Manger was very nice and helpful. The hotel is new and the rooms are clean but small, I would recommend B&B to anyone as its well priced and they do serve breakfast as well for 7 euro. It’s... More

Stayed one night visiting a relative, who was also staying in the same hotel. This chain seems to make a good virtue of its economy pricing and presents everything very well, at least in this hotel. Building is virtually new. Reception only opens at certain hours, an economy move but you can still access the foyer, drinks machines and toilets.... More

On arrival, I thought I was in the wrong place until my fiancé confirmed it was the right hotel. The service is not bad and it is clean but it's obvious the hotel is definitely budget. It's only good for sleeping and not much else as the room my fiancé and I stayed in was small.

Stayed three nights in April 2013. Room was very clean, power shower was good. The hotel is in a mainly shopping/residential area. No bar but you could get snacks, drinks including beer and wine, from a machine. I didn't have a laptop but there was Internet in reception you could use, I think it was 1 Euro for 10 minutes.... The B&B Hotel is a nice Hotel to stay for a short weekend as its very closed to Oberhausen and to Dotmund where we went to see the football match BVB. I booked a family room because we travelled with my son and the room was really nice, clean, the breakfast was not expensive and also good. As we go... More

I go to Essen every year at this time to attend a conference. It is always tricky to find a good hotel at an affordable price as everything is booked long time in advance and the prices are generally high this time of the year. My first stay in this hotel. I normally prefer hotels with higher standards, but found... More

This hotel is not far from the Limbecker Platz shoppingmall and the Berliner platz U-bahn station. The area around the hotel is quite new and there is iindeed a Burger King across the hotel. The walk to the hauptbahnhof is quite long. Check in was friendly and smooth. The room is typically B&B: a bit spartan but clean. There is free... More

Very clean and tidy - think UK travelodge. No fanciness at all, just a clean, warm place to put your head down. TV only has one English channel - BBC World news.. Strange quirk - they have double beds, but only single duvets! There is another one in the extra bedding bag in the room but was a minor annoyance... More

This is not like some of the chain (motorway service area, used to be something else before re-branding) but a new, purpose built hotel in central Essen. Our sat-nav found it with no problem, there's plenty of parking, and the staff were very welcoming. For what it's worth, there's a Burger King across the car park. The rooms are standard... More
