Yes the location is great and if that is all you are using the hotel for, then I'd recommend it and certainly the price is very good. But again, like with many German hotels, the star rating is over ambitious. What is essentially a 3 star hotel by world standards is advertised as 4 star. It was fine, but really... More

Is Close and Handy to the Central Rail Station and the centre of town. Staff are friendly and very friendly, always willing to help out in anyway. Room Service needs to be addressed and also the cost of Wifi in Rooms. was really laughable when one could walk up to Macdonalds and use theirs for free. For a Good Quality... More

Stayed here for work purposes. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center, with free parking in front of the door after 8PM. Although the reception staff was friendly, the rest of the hotel really is nothing special. Rooms are small but clean and quiet. Breakfast is decent, although there was no fresh juice. Would stay here again but... More

Unremarkable, but decent business place within walking distance to Essen main station and shopping district, 25 min by train from DUS airport. Wifi in rooms is 4,50€ per hour,I don't think this is acceptable these days for a business hotel.

Stayed here for one night due to location for next day business meeting in Essen. Quite nice Hotel, central location, not the cheapest in town at Euro 140, but to good standard, its modern and clean and receptionist was very friendly. Breakfast was really good with great selection, restaurant was full of business people. Having to pay for Wi Fi... More

only 5 minutes by foot from the main railway station to the hotel makes it very convienient. the room is nice and if you have a room to the back it's quite. The bed is comfortable. You have to pay for the internet and also for the breakfast. But in the railwaystation there is free internet for example at Starbucks... More

I stayed here for 2 nights with my 5mth old; 2 year old and my husband whilst working in Essen. This hotel provided for us a "studio" (don't be fooled - NO self-catering facilities other than a kettle.) This room was their largest room and it was more than adequately sized for a family. No shower, which is typical in... More

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in December. It is an average hotel, 4 stars quoted but more like 3 stars. The rooms are small in size, small beds with furniture too old for a 4 star rating. As an additional note in the right bathroom that is clean and modern with a nice shower. Breakfast is modest... More

Conveniently placed, 200m from the railway station. A bit too long the waiting time at the reception. Absurd price for wifi Internet, 14€ a day, and no LAN. Breakfast ok. Rooms are clean and staff is nice. I'll go again, but Internet is not a plus.
