Stayed in this hotel on a business trip to Duisburg. The hotel is very easy to get to since it is just in front of the train station. The hotel is quite small, however the rooms are of decent size. The breakfast is ok and the internet is very good (and free). However, the best part is the staff since... More

I've been there for 5 nights and the experience was really good! The room is really clean and the service very prompt. Friederich (the owner) is always ready to suggest you and to help you. You won't be disappointed!

Clean room, but the floor is a kind of smelly... Beds are used up and let u feel like if you're sleeping in a ham rock... Breakfast has big choices for western eaters, ... there are no alternative food selections available. The bistro / restaurant downstairs shows a nice ambient but has no customers.... (Price?) However, as you're next to... More

Good central location just loopiest the Hauptbahnhof, a short train ride from Dusseldorf Airport or around 50 Euros in a taxi. Looks a bit scruffier on the outside in reality that it does on the website … but that’s not unusual for hotels – I booked a ‘comfort single’ room for 139 Euros which was one of the last available... In the area on business for one night. Comfortable, clean, and quiet rooms. A 5 minute walk from the train station. Very good breakfast. The biggest surprise was the bistro restaurant. We sat outside for dinner and had a fantastic meal.

Very poor hotel indeed. Dirty and very noisy. My room was smelly (cigarette!!!) and I had to keep teh window open buy the smell was always there. I didnt have any sleep due to the noise from the street. I really wonder why so many people recomend it. I was travelling for business for 3 days, I only stayed one... More

I would recommend this hotel to everybody travelling to Duisburg. I did not see any other hotel in Duisburg which is better, and believe me, I have been to a lot. They speak several languages, the rooms and the bath room are really super with complimentary WiFi. Breakfast is like in a 5 star hotel and the Bistro Restaurant next... More

This is a terrific hotel. We arrived in Duisburg HBF and found the hotel directly opposite us. The receptionist spoke four languages and patiently put up with my (brutal) attempts at German. The room was clean, quiet, spacious, and double-glazed. Ours was on the second floor and looked out the back of the hotel. Though it could have benefitted from... More
