I've just spent a couple of nights there with my boyfriend and we're both delighted with this hotel. It's simple yet so comfortable and clean. All the staff was extremely polite and helpful. The room was perfectly cleaned while we were at breakfast. Super well located, we could easily go to city centre and the subway from/to airport was just... More

Am Wehrhahn is a small familiar hotel with no luxuries but very clean and comfortable. The owners are really nice and helpful. The hotel location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the shopping area and the old town. There are also plenty of restaurants in the nearby. Very recommendable for a short stay in Düsseldorf.

We decided to book this hotel for a weekend in Düsseldorf after it was recommended by a colleague. The owner told us he was almost full and there was only a small room left. Indeed the room was small but we knew that in advance so no complaint about it. In fact , the hotel is really small itself, with... More

I do not usually write reviews of hotels. But the Am Wehrhahn is really worth a mention. Danny and his team were natural hosts. Friendly and helpful-the whole staff gave us great service from printing our boarding passes for our flights home to recommending saunas!Breakfast was great-no complaints there. This is a narrow town house on 4 floors so there... More

This little pension is the perfect place to stay - it's clean, the staff is friendly, and it's centrally located to the Altstadt. The room was clean and the pension offers free wi-fi as well as breakfast which is nice. Don't let the construction outside bother you because at night you don't hear a thing. I highly recommend this place.... More

It's cosy and not expensive hotel near the main shopping streets in Dusseldorf. You can go in 10-15 min in old town and all main attractions. The rooms are quite good, the breakfast is like in small hotel. Very nice person at reception.

This was a really good find - fairly basic but far more than adequate hotel 10 mins walk from the station and 10/15 from the old quarter. Excellent value at only 65 euros a night for a double room, good en suite shower room and very nice choice at breakfast. Not luxury but have spent a lot more and got... More
