Loved the Burns Art apartment I stayed at in Dusseldorf during the closing stages of the World Cup football competition. On arrival you check in at reception on Bahnhofstrasse which is only a couple of blocks away. I believe you can eat breakfast there if you want to but I was going for the full self-catering option at around £40... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in January with D. It's about 10 minutes walk from the Main train station. The door leading to the hotel is a single glass door. As soon as you walk in the main reception is in another room to the left. Walk straight and there is a laptop and lift is next to it. Our... More

I was underwhelmed by the art that's for sure but the rooms were clean, the staff were friendly the pillows a were nice and the shower was hot and strong PLUS the breakfast was just divine, such a lovely spread with fruit cereal meats cheese juice muffins and pastries all day. The cellar area where it is served is also... More

I wanted the luxury of a hotel with housekeeping and breakfast but yet needed a place with at least two rooms and I found it in Burns Art Hotel. The suite room had a separate bedroom and an office/library which was perfect for a babycot. The sofa in the living area also converts to a sofa bed (pretty comfy when... More

Stayed here recently for 3 nights, Spotlessley clean!, Very friendly staff, The Hotel is situated in a nice quite side street, Fairly Central to Dusseldorf, The Breakfast is without doubt......Lovely!!! the customer lift is probably the smallest one i've ever used in a Hotel. Just enough room for one person with luggage. Rooms are well presented but lacking tea and... More

The location is ok but what really is a great thing are prices, especially during exhibitions. I did not like that the room was so small I could not put my luggage on the floor and open it. that is why I just gave 2 stars for the room.

I have stayed in this hotel three times - twice in the hotel and once in the nearby apartments. The apts are roomier but not as well appointed as the hotel rooms. Hotel rooms are somewhat small, but adequate. Even the single had a queensize bed. Service is friendly. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Top floor rooms have a... More

The room is so tiny that you can't walk around the minimum size bed without spending some thought on how to get the chair out of the way. The shower has no curtain and no door. There is not one socket for your phone charger. I am sure that the reviews are massivly manipulated.

Tucked away in a quiet side street, this is something very different to your normal chain hotel. It was in fact an apartment rather than a hotel room, nice functional kitchen and dining area, spacious living room and bedroom, open plan. The room was furnished with great art pieces. All very good quality and a good breakfast to make it... More

For a real feeling of "living in Duesseldorf" try the Burns Art Hotel on Charlottenstrasse. It is part of the Burns Hotel group who have 3 properties in the Duesseldorf area - a standard hotel and two "apart-hotels" which provide spacious and well-equipped mini-apartments for the more independent traveller. Benefits of the Burns Art Hotel include much more space than... More
