The four stars rank is indeed deceiving; the reception staff was rude didn't let me check in before 15:00 despite the fact I stay for three days. The facilities are bad too. The cleaners and her stuff are lied everywhere even occupies the common spaces. One of the worst hotels I stayed.

A very comfortable and well appointed hotel in the middle of Düsseldorf. Fantastic breakfast buffet with a wide selection of fresh foods. Bedrooms well appointed although a bit cold on the tiled floors in November. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed at Burns Art Hotel in a junior suite September 2015 only one night arriving at 9 PM and left 9 AM the next day. Service was friendly, no complaints. My critique is about the facilities. The hotel is built in a building combining 1950:s and early 1900:s buildings. All the common areas are like a stairway of a tenement.... More

We booked this hotel because there was a big discount, and it ended up to be the best and the cheapest hotel during our Germany trip. But I doubt that we would opt for this hotel if it offered the original price. We stayed in 2 different rooms at the beginning and end of our trips. Both rooms were very... More

I was booked for 13 nights due to business trip . It was most disappointing experience.. Booking was via Booking .com 1. Couple of good things : just 2 persons at the receptions are really helpful, quite clean 2. Lot of bad experience : (a') Hotel Apartment was booked with the possibility for using the stove and fridge. After couple... More

I would like to highlight that this is only my personal opinion and experience, but I need to share it. Spent 2 days at this hotel and never back! First approach, nice, old building and very friendly personnel. After I saw the room, I was kind of unpleasant surprised compared to the money charged for one night and that it... More

Is a good hotel, close to Dusseldorf's city center. Walking to the Konigsallee is a couple of minutes. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Very good breakfast in a nice room in authentic basement. Although there is a small bar at the reception it is not a place to sit longer.

I stayed 1 night in December in this hotel. The staff is friendly and nice, but the building is dated and used. I had a tiny single room, not much bigger than a storage room - with a small, old television. The bathroom was very small as well, but clean. It needs an overall update asap.

The hotel offers very spacious suites with pleasant African artifacts and gentle stylish design. There is even a kitchen including dishwasher ( I did not need it). I recommend it particularly for people wishing to stay longer than one day. Parking with the elevator is a bit of a hassle, but breakfast makes up for this. Reception staff is very... More

When you walk up to this hotel, one has apprehensions. It's in a somewhat rough area near the main train station, and all the other hotels in the area resemble very cheap hotels. On entering it appears to be very basic, but on closer inspection, the lobby is actually small but well-maintained and with interesting magazines. The check in clerk... More
